But you will need to take off the specs once when you put on the helmet and once you take it off, in between is what matters. Safety, comfort, more helmet designs and choice, vents etc is what you get in a full face helmet, so think again and make your choice.Originally posted by Mindgrinder View Postbuddy only reason for that is i wear specs and don't need to take em off while taking off helmet plus they provide lot of breathing space. suggest any good dealer now
Any dealer would be fine just remember the mantra bargain between 10-25%
I had bought mine and my friend's helmet from balaji helmets, he is a cheat, everyone here know that
, but the collection is good, he speaks very friendly
, make sure you get a good deal after bargain with him.
Other than that i have been to helmet paradise, this shop is ok, the shop keeper was not as friendly as balaji but okish. Not tried anywhere else, so if you do, please tell us who else is better.

If you want to go for flip-up helmet then thats the best bet within 2K.Originally posted by chauhan_saurabh View Post@CSSK - Then I Guess, I should also go for Vega Bolean. That's the best modular in the range of 2k ..
Any suggestion for the other helmet I want to buy in range of say 1000-1500 ...
If you are okay with full face helmets, stretch your budget a little bit and go for a good AGV/MPA, Vega Topend, (BHP, GPR, Cross not sure how genuine these are, so double check for ISI/DOT/ECE certifications for these 3 helmets)
Maybe you need to stretch your budget by another 200-500 rupees.
As for the other helmet go for vega boolean or studds rhino series.
Again this will exceed your budget, but i recommend you stretch here too and get the best which is almost within your budget.

Finally dont forget to bargain.

This looks nice...I was searching for a full face helmet for touring (budget upto3K). I already have the Vega Boolean for city usage. Ruled out the Vega high end helmet (Rs.2500) coz the max size they have is 58cms. Now my questions are:
1. Do they have a size of 60cms.(L) in Rhino?
2. Are there any other color options like full black, matt black etc.?
These colors don't match with my bike at all!
Quench my thirst with gasoline!

I am planning to buy a Modular i.e. Boolean for me and a full face in about the same range for my wife who is getting a scooter for herself, she does not like open face but ok with full face or modular one.

I am not sure about the size, but i feel that it should be available in L size.Originally posted by R15Rocks View PostThis looks nice...I was searching for a full face helmet for touring (budget upto3K). Unfortunately they are available in blue and orange colors as of now. You can check it out in castrol bike zones, where its sold as of now. Not sure if its available outside of bike zones.
But the inner padding are not removable and only clear visors are available
If your bike is black then any color helmet will suit the bike

Thanks. I'm ok with the visor being plain. I don't prefer tinted visors in any case. Non removable padding is also ok coz I don't sweat much. Don't even use a helmet for more than 3 years. Will visit CBZ soon. Can you please tell me the url where you got the above pic from? Its not there on the Studds site.Originally posted by cssk View PostI am not sure about the size, but i feel that it should be available in L size.

Some more pics to help you

Thats the problem with websites, they are not maintained, even vega website doesnt have its flagship helmet listed
PS : I am not the owner of the pics, the credit goes solely to its owner.
