The problem is that they dont expect customers to come again and again, what most of them do is get the cheapest helmet possible and keep it for lifetimeOriginally posted by Velocity View Posti had written long back in the same thread, Balaji Helmets cheats every customer they don't need any loyal customers they just wanna rip off everyone who comes to shop there. another bangy member 'pranay' also had got cheated around 1.2k & later got refund from balaji.
almost all the shops there & also at jc road rip off everyone.. so better bargain until you find worth & then buy it..
balaji has got more stocks & more products than others but they cheat everyone thats the problem..
I myself buy a new visor from them atleast once in a month even though i know the price which i had paid last time they say we never sell this visor at that price.. i pay ~10rs everytime :-(
So they cheat, thinking that they wont come back again
Another advantage this guy has is his shop is the one of the first in the road, so mostly people will go here first
.
I remember pranay's story as well
From now on i will do mega bargain for sure, i only got it for my friend for 2600 because i think R15Rocks had quoted that he got it for 2500(no offence meant yaar).
Sorry to ask this question again but are you sure you got this helmet for 1950, because other members are quoting even higher prices
.
You buy visor atleast every month
Can you compare clear visor with silver tinted visor, like how good the silver tinted one is during hot sun and during dark night (places which are well lit and highways)
So how much do you pay every time for the visor.
Didnt try in any other shop for the visor?

You are welcomeOriginally posted by biker boy View PostThanks a lot dear,
The same helmet with blue graphics is being sold here at 3500/-. And all this because that guy has monopoly in Chandigarh as he is only having such products.
Try doing more searching, because since vega is a local brand there should be lot of shops having the same, search well first. Or else call up vega auto and check if there are any other dealers at your place. Check out Vega Auto Accessories Pvt Ltd. :: Contact Us Details
There cant be so much differenceOriginally posted by R15Rocks View PostThe matt black costs 2500&Graphics ones cost 3500/-
The cheater balaji helmets guy here in bangalore said that both cost the same, so double check!!!
There shouldn't be so much difference, check if you can get it for less in sorrounding cities/statesOriginally posted by biker boy View PostThanks R15Rocks, I never thought there will be such huge difference between the matt and graphics one. Will surely buy the helmet and post the pics ASAP.

If you think 2500 would be a better price then go ahead & buy oneOriginally posted by cssk View PostSorry to ask this question again but are you sure you got this helmet for 1950, because other members are quoting even higher prices

Word Clear for Clear Plain Visor :-) you cant compare anything
Silver can be used even during nights too but don't except it to be too clear like plain visors, but still you can manage it during nights. I am used to it these days.
Silver one gives you better visibility during hot sun, better than dark tinted ones.
I pay 210~225 every time.. I daily travel in muddy areas & highways hence my visor gets scratches from dust & small stones which hit the visors often so i change it atleast once in a month. though i could still manage with scratches but i am not comfortable...BTW i use one cheap vega helmet
.
I haven't tried any other shops since 10 bucks doesn't matter for me also another thing of parking bikes there at lalbagh road

How did you bargain with him, how much did he quote initially?
Donate me some of your bargaining skills
But normal helmet visor wont cost you more than 100-120Rs.
Just check in other shops as well.
Thanks for your patience in answering all my questions

Although i would advise against flip-ups for various reasons including safety, if you still want to go for flip-up helmet then try vega booleanOriginally posted by Mindgrinder View Postok guys i am getting my bike on monday, please let me know a good helmet shop in bangalore (J.C. Road) for both international and indian brands i am planing to buy a flip up, and till what level should i bargain.
Vega Boolean Helmet
Try to bargain atleast 10% and upto 25% on average, depending on the helmet. Dont buy helmets which look flashy and without any certifications.

Can you guys suggest me a really good dealer in bangalore, a good Modular helmet for me and one for my GF(Full face)? Looking for VFM helmets with good quality in range of 2000 and 1000-1200 respectively.@CSSK - Then I Guess, I should also go for Vega Bolean. That's the best modular in the range of 2k ..Originally posted by cssk View PostAlthough i would advise against flip-ups for various reasons including safety, if you still want to go for flip-up helmet then try vega boolean
