is shoei no1 or arai or is there some other brands which r better

alpinestars dont manufacture helmets they have riding gear like the jackets and pants and gloves knee caps bionic chest protectors etc maybe you misstook alpinestars for arai if im not wrong.

It is not just about the brand. You have to get the right helmet in that brand. Even Arai would have some helmets in the KBC range and that doesn't make them the best automatically... it is possible that in that range KBC's are better than Arai's... well, just an example and I hope you got my point.

It is not just about the brand. You have to get the right helmet in that brand. Even Arai would have some helmets in the KBC range and that doesn't make them the best automatically... it is possible that in that range KBC's are better than Arai's... well, just an example and I hope you got my point.

hi guys,

need your advice on below..i am planning to buy helmet..i have shorlisted two of them ( based on budget and choice :d)

1) vega graphics series helmet ( 1100 rs)
2) index (some tx series) (1800)
3) vega ( i liked the graphics on it..also fits pretty well..can't see the attachment button in the edit mode)

pics attached.

The shop is at link road..when going from malad w towards andheri.the guys is having pretty decent collection for vega,studds,agv,index,mpa..and few cross helmets.

Thanks for your feedback guys, am smitten by the Sparx Pow helmet but Ive got to pick up a DSG Nero & a new pair of gloves before getting a new helmet so it will take a few months. Found the prices to be a bit higher here. Someone posted that the prices of Sparx helmets in PRS is 6500 & courier charges are 500 bucks.

Could anyone from Bombay if they happen to pop into PRS check the prices of Sparx helmets ?

I had written to Performance Racing Store Mumbai. They are quoting Rs. 6,000 for the SparX-S07&Rs.500 for courier charges.

Sweet. Thanks for the info man. 6k + 500 still undercuts Orion's pricing by a huge 2 grand.
