@enigma_ahmd - That was a bad experience man. If its any consolation, even my MPA AGV is fogging up in this Bangalore climate. I have to be careful while riding lest I fog it up really fast.

Also, forgive me for asking but why did you go to Megha's to pay 200 bucks more ? Anyways, here's hoping others learn from this incident - guys please dont but helmets that arent your size. Ive seen so many people riding around with those cheap lids that can barely cover their faces.

Since many people discussed abt Megha's in this forum, i thought it can be trusted. I was ready to pay for the trust.
But the sad part is Trust is the first thing the Megha's broke apart from cheating me. Anyway a lesson for me and others to learn.

@Neil: Any plans to buy a Anti-fog visor, if u buy any do let me know i too want o buy one.

Have been reading through this thread for some time now, & must admit, some great discussion going on here!
Coming to the topic, I have a Red R15, and I'm attaching the pics of my helmet.. I simply love it..

Its a Vega.. MRP is ~1050.. Got it for 880 (that includes a free shitty key chain, & a very nice cloth mask to be worn inside the helmet)
I was prepared to buy a costlier one (upto 2k), like say an AM.. But didn't like any of them the shopwallas showed.. So settled for this one.. I simply love the overall look, & comfort of the helmet.. & like you said, it goes very well with my bike too.. Moreover, I'm very fond of the colour RED..

Naah! Its not from Vega.. The shopwala gave those freebies..
By giving the freebies, he just compensated for the fact that he didn't bargain on the price any further.. & the helmet was the best one available (graphis + red colour) in all the shops I had been to, so i didn't wanna let go of it..

After few days I went to other shops to buy helmet with my friend, other shops are quoting 2.4K(initially),,,

There are some mixed opinions about Megha's helmet store in this thread!
Anyways, it is strongly recommended to try out the price (including taxes) for the helmet you've decided on in atleast 3-4 shops before you decide to buy one from any shop (be it for the price, service, freebies etc).
For all who didn't know, Lalbagh Road in Bangalore is lined up with helmet shops. (The shops start just before Urvashi Theatre, and continue till a few buildings beyond MTR).. You should get a helmet to your liking here, without any pain. The shops together stock all brands of helmets..

they have put banners regarding company discount

can someone throw light about their quality & VFM

they are amazing helmets. though their tie up with ARAI is not there anymore. They have a tie up with LEVOIR. It still is a very good market.

Sure.. Its nothing flashy though.. Just a plain simple piece of stitched cloth..
Will post the pic(s) by evening once I get home, cuz my phone-cam seems screwed up as of now..

Here are the pics.. It might look like an undy in the pic, but its not..
Its a piece of cloth that has been nicely stitched up.. The shopwala was trying to get me into buying an extra one, but I wanted to try it out first, and it has turned out to be very nice..
Here are some of its features (& i'm not trying to market it.. I'm only a consumer )
1. Covers the head (the same region as a normal 'topi' would cover)
2. Prevents hair from getting messed up while wearing or removing the helmet
3. Makes you sweat less (& absorbs little of it)
4. Makes the helmet fit in nicely & the helmet feels more comfortable

Oh nice, I also use these. Looks more like a namaaz cap, but does its work very well for the price-only Rs.20!

^^^ I guess shopkeepers in bangalore are giving these caps free nowadays with a purchase... Got one too with my MPA AGV
