The lid looks same as AGV nice one were did u bought it???.The indian version AGV is from d MPA brand.

true, it looks the same in all aspects except for the branding. I picked it up in Mumbai, Grant auto world.

Where & Which Helmet around 1K in chennai?

Hi Guys,

I've to buy a good helmet (for short term, high on safety, graphics is not a priority) for around 1K. Can you recommend any? Based on the discussion in this thread, I've shortlisted the following:
Vega Dominator
Vega Boolean
Studds Bravo
Studds Ninja
Studds Rhyno

Since I don't have big/large head I am hesitant to go for Studds. Please let me know your opinions. Also where can I buy it in Chennai (Anna Nagar)?

Go for vega boolean because of washable padding after u any one can use in future it will be hygienic. u can remove the jaw,any lady can use as a half helmet.

Nice lid and nice price too. When I told my friends that I spent 1150 on a helmet they gave me half an hour lecture. When I tell about the 15k one they will crash for sure

Try to have a look at MPA if available, it falls in ur range. Very decent for the price. I have uploaded the pics above. Boolean is more than 1.5k

Indeed your MPA looks good.
Can you share your exp with it? Is it light-weight, tough, comfortable, vents, visor etc.

Also can you guys comment on the whistling in these helmets. MPA too. I'm really particular about this. Had couple of close calls where I couldnt hear a car overtake me. Of course i dont know if he honked or not...

Whistling effect will merely be available in almost all the helmets.....Its tough to avoid it.....But there are few which can reduce the whistling effects....
Vegaboolean ---- it produces more whistling effect
StuddsNinja ---- I think this suits you - this produces minimum whistling.....
