Cross helmets

Can any one tell me how are Cross helmets are they any good than Vega or Studds?

yeah man..its the same one..except my frnd has a white one...
and i havnt seen a different design of LS2 other than this one...
its got three color variants of this...white,black & a matte black.

by the way had come across LS2 model its the same model in white with a red dragon around the visor and huge logo of LS2 above the silver color tinted visor... They quoted 3000 for the Lid... but felt it heavy so did not go for it though i liked its superior padding and comfort...

yesterday a new xbhpian joined our tvm team and was having an LS2 (black and silver- same one as i ve posted in the previous page). when asked about it, said he bought it from cochin for 2500 bucks!!!
Damn, these guys here at helmet shops charge a premium of 1000 Rs for a single piece .Without knowing this, our member jayamohan bought the LS2 from that shop for 3.5 k last week.

2500?? ... argghhh.. why is there so much of price difference.. compared to b'lore is more that 1000/- ka diff.. 200-300 difference is understandable but this is heights..

ya cross helmets r better than vega n studds, but above 3k range because if u go for cross in range of 2k it wont have any standards like DOT or ECE i will suggest go for any of the helmet but check the standards n spares availability like visor.

I kind of have an eye on this one.. Anyone from B'lore planning to buy this lid.. If yes then we can try going together and pull up a bargain.. Balaji Helmets guys said the starting range is 3.4k... so do not know how much bargaining will have to be done plus am not good at bargaining either ..
Any other place where this helmet would be available??

hey this lid is available just across the street from balaji too , at helmet paradise , thats where i saw it , forget buying from balaji helmets , the guy makes u feel like he's actually losing money giving you a bargain ( not that we should care ) , but, the others will give you the same discount without making a face , so i found helmet paradise pretty good ... megha enterprises too , but haven't seen a big range to choose from over there ...

Finally got Vega Boolean. Actually went to buy MPA Flash but fitting was not good. Boolean looks solid too.
