Guys help me decide which is the best helmet among these.
Vega boolean-1.6k
Index-2k(looks awesome but no removable padding also, tinted visor)
studds ninja 3g-1.3k (but only black colour and no designs also)
I initially wanted to buy boolean, but the shopkeeper guy says its not a good helmet, it might break even if it drops from your hand etc etc.
Any other helmets available within 2k range ??
I want one which has a good design, and not too heavy.
movable chin guard, inner visor and removable paddings are secondary but preferred.
p.s. please reply fast, i want to buy it tomorrow itself

Well in my opinion don't use flip up helmets as they can open in a crash .Originally posted by thefalcon View PostGuys help me decide which is the best helmet among these.

its not like studds which uses plastic clamp's, it uses meatl clamps which will not break in case of accident which we hve seen in studds ninja.
and also it is not spring assisted so in case it opens it will not just go 2 its top position!
i m using one which i purchased in jan and i m happy with the product,
i wear specs so modular helmet is what which is best for me1
DON'T WORRY ENJOY UR PURCHASE!

thx bro... got a good lid from AA helmet and the guy was really helpfull....Originally posted by deepikins View PostActually, there is AH helmets a little ahead from aa. Take the right after AA helmets and the left at the next signals. you will find it on the left side. good place and helpful guys.
Also there is the performance racing store which mainly deals with joe rockets and AGV helmets. some great lids here. a little pricey , but you pay for the quality. have just booked the joe rocket stain series blue helmet from here.If you need a reason to ride,
You are not on the right bike.

In major crash possibilities may be there but if u check it is having brass lock on its jaw which make it safe compare to othersOriginally posted by varun_r15 View PostOMG..

I'm not sure of the name, it was at JC road and siddhaiah road intersection.(bangalore)Originally posted by [email protected] View PostWhich shop told u like this? he must be not a dealer for vega thats why he must be telling like this. this helmet is approved by DOT standards.any time i also suggest to go for fix helmet but flip ups r convenient for city ride
What are the chances of running into a fake vega boolean ??
Because the side panels guarding the flip up feature looked a little flimsy in the helmet he showed me. he even tapped it and he was like "cant you make out by the sound that the quality is bad"
the rest of the helmet looked pretty strong though.
