@Shivanshu: I have tried, and for a couple of months even used a Vega model, after which I happily let it go. I somehow do not find Vega helmets a snug fit (no matter what size I tried), as the padding inside the Vega lids are not really comfortable; there is not enough padding is what I feel!
If you have a budget of Rs.3,500/- odd, then I would suggest you add about a thousand bucks (or a little more) to your budget and get a KBC or something similar (one model of KBC retails for about Rs.5,500/- or thereabouts) - way better than ANY Vega or GP-One for that matter!

yeah brother will do that but I wanted to know how is LS2 in general apart from the size and all. Though thanks for the info Sarvajit. which one do u use bro?Originally posted by Sarvajit View PostGet the right size. Check the sizing here (may not be the same for all but gives an idea): New Page 1
Measure your head size with an inch tape around your forehead, just above your eyebrows&see!
Yeah will check out the smaller size and see. Thanks NeilOriginally posted by neil.jericho View PostTry getting a smaller size if this is happening. If you get the same sized one it might shake at high speeds.
Rohit thanks brother, what other options are available. I am not getting time to hunt down these days.Originally posted by rohitmundra View Postthe size was big as compared to your face. go to the shop and try out different sizes. But I dont find the helmet worth the money i.e. 3500/-
try for other options as well.
mmmm thanks Aryan Da for the info, though I wont go above 3500rs as I have other things as well in my mind, but yeah will try to look for other options within this budget. And as it is I wont buy without knowing about the product properlyOriginally posted by Aryan View Post@Shivanshu: I have tried, and for a couple of months even used a Vega model, after which I happily let it go. If you are talking about the Vega Boolean, I have had the ditto similar experience with the padding-it gave my forehead ache on longer rides.Originally posted by Aryan View Post@Shivanshu: I have tried, and for a couple of months even used a Vega model, after which I happily let it go. I found the LS2&Vega Shadow pretty good. I use the older Vega high end model which costed about Rs.2700 then. Size M 57-58 cms.Originally posted by Shivanshu View PostYeah brother will do that but I wanted to know how is LS2 in general apart from the size and all. Its better to go for a slightly tighter fitting lid, as the padding will eventually loosen up&take the shape of your head. Somewhere in this thread, there are tips given on how to choose the right size, by wearing it, shaking your head etc. Go through that.
The best fitting lid is the one which moves seamlessly with your head, so guaranteed it will not lift up at higher speeds. At the same time, it should have enough space inside so as to not press your ears or forehead.Quench my thirst with gasoline!

Yes, aptly put. It did ache on the forehead after constant use of the Vega, and yes, it was the Boolean!Originally posted by Sarvajit View PostIf you are talking about the Vega Boolean, I have had the ditto similar experience with the padding-it gave my forehead ache on longer rides.:)

I thought so. However, the imported Vegas are really good, maybe you'd like to try one of those. I replaced mine with a Studds Ninja 2G flip-up after the 'Boolean' experience. Oh yeah I forgot to mention the matte finish also peeled off within 2-3 months!Originally posted by Aryan View PostYes, aptly put. I somehow love flip-ups for daily use. Touring only full face.Quench my thirst with gasoline!

@Aryan bhai 3500 to 5500 is not a little strech....LOL...Originally posted by Aryan View Post@Shivanshu: I have tried, and for a couple of months even used a Vega model, after which I happily let it go. KBC is good quality even though for 3500 you can get a good LS2 helmet too... my friend bought one for 2800Rs... its pretty descent quality the padding and the fit is perfect(not comparing with KBC)...sigpic...Ride Long...Ride Safe...

Quite a few months back, I saw this KBC lid along with a HJC one which was for Rs.5,700/-. The HJC was about Rs.6,200/- or so, and it (HJC) felt better than the KBC one!Originally posted by Aparajith View Post@Aryan: 5500 bucks for a KBC. Now thats news!!! Can u give me the dealer details? Hey shivanshu checked out a LS2 helmet here in pune while shopping for a helmet myself. Its really good, light weight and looks just superb and costed 3050 with and without graphics. I got myself a Cross hemet coz of my budget but if my budget had been more i would have gone for an LS2 anytimeOriginally posted by Shivanshu View PostAnyone using Vega LS2. I really like that Helmet and thinking to buy one soon. Now the only thing is that one of Delhi xBhpians have it and when I tried it, I could feel some spacing inside. Like when you shake your head left - right, the helmet would shake a bit which meant that its not face hugging helmet, i.e. it has gaps in interior padding which would make the helmet move a bit even when the face is staionary.
Can anyone using it thro some light on it

Where did u see it? Yep, HJC's are better than KBC`s. I got my self a SCORPION EXO-400 3 months back. I sampled the KBC with the Scorpion and the fit/finish of the Scorpion was much better! KBC's do not have great reviews outside India nowadays. Thats why I got the HJC.Originally posted by Aryan View PostQuite a few months back, I saw this KBC lid along with a HJC one which was for Rs.5,700/-.
