Its a very good helmet, my friend has bought one for 2800Rs/- which is worth the money... the padding and the fit is good... i think LS2 is VFM at this price range...Originally posted by Aryan View PostDo you use one? If so, I would like to know more about the fit of the lid, things like how snug is it?

A definite VFM proposition, but I sure hope that padding doesn't become loose over time, like it is the case with a couple of Vega models!Originally posted by Binoy View PostIts a very good helmet, my friend has bought one for 2800Rs/- which is worth the money... the padding and the fit is good... i think LS2 is VFM at this price range...

My friend's LS2 is almost 4-5 months old and currently its going fine... but surely not like Vega... when i went to buy a helmet for me, i first checked vega Boolean(which is a word i always heard in xbhp)... speaking frankly i hate that model(no hard feelings for vega fans) and i bought MPA AGV which is also very good one, the only probs. in AGV is its increased weight...Originally posted by Aryan View PostA definite VFM proposition, but I sure hope that padding doesn't become loose over time, like it is the case with a couple of Vega models!
Heard vega has launched a new model called Shadow(or similar name) and my friend has bought it which is good one in his opinion...

can anyone suggest me a good helmet within 3.5K
Looks are secondary the primary thing is that it should be Well ventilated
In Nagpur the temperatures are 48-49*C, and my head is getting cooked in a
Vega helm(the best I could find here)
I was also thinking of getting a KCB from USA from my brother
Will it be possible for him to bring it to India with him?

Is the GP-One heavier than MPA AGV? oh i though mine is the heaviest one...Originally posted by Aryan View Post@Binoy: I have used an AGV MPA for a few rides, and I find it very heavy too, but certainly not as heavy as a brick (which, incidentally my GP-One is!)...
there are lot of helmets at that price range... as you are in delhi almost every model are available there i think... LS2, Cross, Vega, MPA AGV etc. are there in this price range...Originally posted by Omi View Postcan anyone suggest me a good helmet within 3.5K

@Binoy: I find the GP-One to be really heavy. After a couple of hours of saddle-time, I need to take off this piece of brick off my head and stretch the shoulders and neck nicely. I'll be changing my lid with the purchase of a new machine, whenever that becomes a reality!

@Omi: It is very much possible for your brother to get a helmet with him, to India.
Infact, many of us want to do that but since we do not have any friends/ relatives staying abroad, we keep sulking looking at those amazingly cheap close-out deals!
However, please be absolutely sure about the size of the helmet, as that can be THE biggest issue when it comes to getting a helmet without actually trying it on. The size which you might be using right now for your current helmet (for example: a MEDIUM) might be too small/ large for the KBC! Please refer to the size-chart that KBC has.:)

Did you meant that the Helmets that are being sold abroad are cheaper in price than the one's that we get in our Country. If that is the case then, My father frequently visits 10-12 times a year in various countries, Perhaps i must lay my hands then.Originally posted by Aryan View Post@Omi: It is very much possible for your brother to get a helmet with him, to India.

would advise not to buy a helmet w/o trying until and unless you are dead sure about size,Originally posted by Aryan View PostHowever, please be absolutely sure about the size of the helmet, as that can be THE biggest issue when it comes to getting a helmet without actually trying it on. am going to Mumbai to buy a helmet,(imagine the expense, i would have got an Ed Hardy for that price) had ordered one and the size was way too big
