Hey guyz this is ma cross-motocross helmet bought yesterday for 3300/- bucks. Kindly comment if it is worth or i was overpriced.

nice lid bro i think price is fine the cross helmets are in that range.

Can anyone tell if MPA AGV production has bee stopped for sure?

AFAIK, a VEGA will come way below that price, AGV --> plain without any graphics.

Even i was searching here are some i found Studds Ninja 3G i think will come at that price don't know much about graphics.

Vega Corah and Forumla HP both cost around 900 something.

AGV today i enquired Delhi price 1.7k Plain don't know about bangalore will be same price i think.

If you are ok without graphics then i saw a Studds Chrome which costs 725.

I don't think its overpriced...i recently bought a full face cross for 3700 and the shop guy was quoting 3400 for motocross types so i think price is quite good

After a long research i have finally found the helmet that suits all my needs. The GMAX 68S.

It seems to be the perfect helmet in our hot humid country. And it only costs 121 USD. GMAX GM68 Odyssey Full Face Helmet - BikeBandit.com

But the thing is shipping directly via this site will cost around 79$ and another 54$ for tax and duty. So the total is coming around 255$ which is roughly equal to 11475 INR which is more than double the price of the helmet.

Now the question is, is there any other way by which i can get the helmet cheaper? AFAIK, customs is 10% for headgear. But these guys are charging 54$ i dont know for what. I have a friend living in Canada who can send me the helmet through courier if i ask him but then how much will the package cost? I went to the UPS site to calculate the cost. Its coming to around 200$ for a 5lb package through air. Again these guys are taking 79$ as international shipping charge through UPS (ground shipping) but i couldnt find any ground shipping option for India at the UPS site.

So what are the options that i have if i want to have the lid at the cheapest price possible?

Buddy i too got a Cross for 3.7k. However its a flip up with mercury coated visor.

Ok buddy, would like to see the pics..mine is also mercury coated but full face..I didnt look in to the flip-up options. I was using a flip up helmet but switched to full face one due to safety reasons

i got a STUDDS CHROME Helmet its really a cheap helmet when i say cheap i mean cheap. and it costs just 625 with a clear visor and the extra Mercury visor is for 125 only. a good value though it is a CHEAP one hehehe.. i got the ugly crome stickers removed and gave it my personalized touch will post the photos in some time.

I too got a cross, but 2.6k.. It is a full face; took it for safety reasons.. I got mercury coated, but feels a spare visor for night riding..

Well i feel the flip ups are as good as the normal full face ones. When closed they are the same as the full face ones and at times they can be opened to make them half faced.
Pics i posted some pages back in this thread. Lemme know if unable to find them.

Hey guys need a new helmet soon... am thinking of the LS2 phobia, but would prefer to try it on IRL rather than online orders.. Any place in mumbai where I can do that?
