Excellent lid.
It weights 1.5KgOriginally posted by Puneet1 View Post@riot - how much does the lid weigh ?
Its a Dainese D-dry, got it for 6kish price. Not sure if its original. But its very good. Its completely waterproof, I wear it everytime i get on my bike, even when riding to Market , been using it Daily Since last 2yrs and Its still going strong. Used a LOT in rains and water never got inside the jacket. Had a few minor spills wearing this Jacket and it served its purpose really well.Originally posted by lijok View Post@Riot - is that an original Dainese jacket? wow.. How did you source it man? and thats a cool lid....

Now Regarding Fake Lids what can we say we are India bound to be there. Now though Chopra is one of the oldest and does stock Good lids they stock Thai ones too.
Now you heard of Caveat Emptor(let the Buyer Beware) This is still a case in India unlike abroad.
But sometimes I prefer to buy lids from Showrooms itself may not have many options are may not be fancy but atleast can count a little bit on quality.
Overall we still have to be the ones Who will have to be careful in choosing lids. A ISI or DOT or any other Certified can help but in India when people don't spare the pharma industry selling expired Meds what can we say about Lids

@Sheelpriye: I believe that brands like KBC and daijjya (hope i spelt it correctly) cater to different market than the likes of Shoei, AGV, Nolan and Arai. Personally, I believe that these brands don't make helmets in the range of 4-5k INR, under which KBC and Daijjya falls. I think they KBC and Daijjya are budgeted helmets which are pocket friendly for middle class people, with very decent quality.
Fake is a word I would not like to use for them. If you would be getting a brand new Shoei for the price of 4-5k INR, then may be its fake 'cause I am not aware if Shoei makes helmets in this range! Otherwise, I believe KBC and the likes are just fine. They are a different market section.
