@rvbhute-- from the pic, it isn't clear about what is wrong with the helmet or whether it is fake, sorry bro

That pic is of the protective foam from inside my helmet. Looks like a shoddy piece of thermocol dabbed with black paint and wrapped with scotch tape.

What I am wondering is whether it is OK for the foam to come off? And should I continue using the helmet if the foam is detachable so easily?

Has anybody else had such an experience?

Are you referring to the Vega Shadow or the older one which was always called Vega high end? If it is the latter, I have it, I have posted a review long back with pics-you can use the search feature to locate it.
Place to buy is Biking Terminal on Rajbhavan Road, opposite to Shell pump. Mention my name&try bargaining, but the price will still be higher than Bangalore/Pune. PM me if you want his no.or something.

Hey all, I have a daijya helmet (samurai) of which the visor had come off while I was riding. Is it possible to get a replacement visor in bangalore?
Otherwise which shop do you guys recommend in bangalore to get a new helmet, can spend around 3k give or take, should I go to the shops near MTR/Lalbagh or should I try JC road (have never really visited stores there). Thanks for your suggestions guys

hey i went and enquired about the same helmet at helmet shoppe in chandigarh and dudes askin for 5000 bucks!!!

i don thnk theres any other place in chd with good lids....

guys please suggest me some place in New delhi.....preferably which is near any metro station...cause its easier

You have ruined your helmet and it shall not provide ample protection in the unfortunate event of a crash resulting in severe injury/injuries
get a new helmet ASAP

^^if you still have the helmet's box, then there should be a hazard warning in a leaflet, warning the same, it isn't even recommend to sticker one's helmet.

Well i dont think i kept the leaflet, but isnt changing the helmet itself a bit extreme ?
The holes i made are pretty small, i used a small drill bit to make a hole, even my bike key wouldn't fit in it (only the thermocol layer , not outer shell too)
