guys need your advice

Hi all a very happy new year.

well in this year and specially January i am planning to buy Vega boolean helmet for my self. Those who r using it can please give me some light on this as my town does not have any dealer when i come to Delhi i.e. on 30 of Jan i am planning to carry it all the way from Delhi to my town. So i will be really great full to all of u to give me a peace of information regarding this helmet.

Please give me your personal view on this subject so that i can really make my mind to go or not to go for this helmet.

So, anyone living in Bangalore tell me whats the price there and name of shop?
As I am not from there, but my friend is living there.

I got it in the US... I got a superb deal since one rarely comes across a Corsair V for that price. Even normal Quantum 2's cost around Rs. 25,000. But you did not get ripped off, don't worry. The regular retail price for a Corsair V replica is anywhere between 800-900 US dollars, so you got charged only 15-20 extra. Which is fair since PRS has to pay duties as well.

What happened to your Arai? If the shell is cracked then it is better not to use it. If it is anything else, replacement parts can be arranged. If you post a picture then I can help.

@Bluebolt, i am happy i got the one i wanted. My other helmet is ok just the clip on the right side is broken, i mean the one that holds the visor is broken, other parts all intact. i have asked the Vijay from Performance racing and he asked me to send the pictures. i shall do that once i reach Shillong.

Are you sure the cover is broken? Arai parts are snap on, even the piece which covers the visor hinge mechanism. If you peep inside, you will see a red plastic part. Sometime the hinge cover disengages from the mechanism, so first you have to push that red piece inside till both of its end join together and then put the outer piece back on.

Even if it is broken, the parts are replaceable, you've would have to order it from PRS.

Its the same... According to Vega website, the name is LS2 Dragon.. On the box its written "MODEL : RAGE COLOR : BLACK/RED DRAGON".

A bad news for all who were heading to A.H. Helmets,Mumbai...there is some problem with the BMC authorities and the shop has currently closed(broken) down...naturally his landline no. wont be answered...in case anyone heading there...call up on his cellphone no. before going...he can still arrange for the products you want from his godown....
