Here is my new cross helmet.Paid 2100 rs for it.I wish to remove that dark visor and put clear ones.Could anybody tell me how much a plain visor for cross costs?.

Of late,I have been hearing a lot about LS2 prices crashing down to as low as for 2.5 k at several places.

Are you guys sure about authenticity of these helmets? Are they original and imported helmets?

I have sent an email to adventure-on-the-rocks asking about why they are still selling LS2 helmets at high-prices(3.5-4K).And the reply I got is this..

Thanks for writing to ON THE ROCKS.

Yes, we can ship the order at your door step. Please note that the prices of ORIGINAL LS2 in market varies from 3500-4500. We stock only certified ECE and DOT standards helmets. If you are getting an LS2 at 2.5K, feel free to buy that but you will regret it buying at the later stage. If LS2 is priced in 2k-2.5 then it is no more an Imported Brand. It is equivalent to any other local brands available.

Anyone would like to shed some more light on this? Have the prices really come down? Or,are these cheap alternatives?

I am in dilemma,right now,as which one to buy..

Not every model of LS2 is available for 2.5-2.7k range. There are others too, which are somewhat expensive than this..i.e in the range of 3.2-3.5k +

Its at ur discretion.. which one u want..!

And one more thing...not everything which is expensive is always good..

yes all are , if you look at the prices of the ls2 helmets on chinese sites they are all priced between 1400-2200 when converted to inr . so price of 3500-4000 for ls2 is not justified imo .

Well don't know abt this kinda cases where the same helmet is sold at different prices in the same city..

p.s: that too can happen but the difference in the price may not be more than 100-200rs.

Hello everyone, can any here tell me what exactly will be the price of LS2 phobia,dragon and loby green in banglore??? and can i get LS2 helmets with in price range of 1.5k-2k??

its not just for ls2 models, i checked price for vega shadow,which costed me 3.5k 6months back. Now its available at autoqueen (kochin) for just 2.2k !!! (and they got new shades like matte black too.! guys its not duplicate its the real thing, i checked )

@ Shivank - Will find out about this in a couple of days & let you know. My take on this is that dealers enjoyed the premium positioning that LS2 helmets had and with the increased volumes & competition prices have started dropping.

I was checking out the helmets at Orion Motors a couple of days back and they are selling the same LS2 helmets that are available outside for 2.x k at 3.5 to 4.5k. When I told him about it, he didnt have an answer and could only smile.

And one more thing...not everything which is expensive is always good..

Apparently the old Vega dealer (the guy opposite St Alberts) wasnt keen on the company letting AQ sell the Vega helmets and insisted on maintaining his monopoly and hence could command the high price. With competition, prices are bound to come down as dealers are willing to reduce their margins.

Yup,he told me too, that he and ''spares helmets'' guy are not on good terms. And he is taking these vegas from different distributor not from authorised one, that how he can bring down the price this much. But hey as long as they are same stuff same quality(which they are) i wouldnt mind buying from AQ. But too bad, that i already bought one for 3.5k. Grrr . But now i know exactly where to go when it comes to riding gears and stuff.
