Hi guys, i need to buy a helmet for my cbr250r... i've choose 3 models/brands..you guys please help me out to buy the good one.. price wise.. i can go up to 15K for helmet.

Opt 1 : KBC VR-1X Turbine - Rs.8,500 [from performance racing store]
Opt 2 : NUVO SP-2 Union - Rs.5,990 [from PlanetDSG.com]
Opt 3 : AGV K3 Black Celebre8 - Rs.13,800 [Includig Shipping Charges from Dinnis Kirk].

friends, i think it's all one time investment..so i would like to buy a better one within these. dont want to buy again and again.

If you can make it down to Bangalore you could try out these helmets and see what size fits you best. I believe the Turbine (along with the rest of the KBC / Sparx range) & a couple of Nuvo helmets are available in Orion Motors along with a few AGVs. Its good to see you have kept aside this much money for a helmet, just make sure you buy one that is a perfect fit.

Thanks, but I would like to know, how exactly that pump on the chin part works.
I tried to work as Sagar from Smartdesign told me,but it hardly made any difference.Plz help


here are some pics abt the same.

The bigger pump button is for inflation. Press it 10-12 times in sucession as the pads are inflated in small steps. The smaller button on right is for deflation.

Always deflate the pads before you take off the helmet else more pressure will be applied on pads and it will wear them off faster.

Cheek pads in G-Fit series Daijya helmet can be inflated via inbuilt pumps for a better fit on cheeks.

Had ordered my Scorpion EXO 750 Eternity helmet from sportbiketrackgear.com.
Has arrived to my uncle's place in the US. The problem is he isn't coming to India anytime soon and is trying to send it through one of his friends but in vain. Cant wait for the helmet to arrive here. Here's a pic of the helmet.

Helmet paradise, in Lalbagh main road. You can get good helmets there at a reasonable price.
