LS2 and Icon are in different league. That Icon looks like the Air Frame and may cost round 15k (Abroad).

Yupp.. i know that.. but i had seen some store stocking these in india.. And this picture was from the same source.. though the prices werent mentioned.. i want this.. i choose ls2 just because i liked the graphics on the Cartoon.. and the quality isnt that bad either

You can try LS2 Dragon. Comes in red-white combo.
Or LS2 BigOne. It has red, white, black, and grey on it. So its almost all the colours on the bike. I have posted its pics in this thread.
Or there is Cross (~ 3.5 k ones) which comes in Red-White.

The dragon is bit too loud for my liking.. but yes, the BigOne seems good and decent.. matching too..

As LS2 was out of my budget that time so didn't do much search for it
but the shop just beside MG traders in wellington stores LS2.... you can visit that shop and see it for yourself ....if certification is proper and design fit etc are ok you can go for one....and be sure to do a good bargain.........one more thing you can park your bike there take a walk around, lots of helmet stores are there you will get a idea of which helmet will cost how much .....do a bit of research and go for the best one in your budget.....

Got a new lid today. LS2 Crown. Bought it from Helmet Paradise, Lalbagh Road, Bangalore

The Guy Quoted Rs 2800. Finaly got it for Rs 2500. Actually i didn't bargain much. hope it's a good price. I was so confused after seeing all the LS2 helmets together, Loved all actually felt like buying all , then Went for the Perfect fitted one, Also loved the Crown because it gives a funcky touch with the colour of the printed crown. I always liked the Rossi's helmet because it had all the funky elements

For me it was the other way around. Searched for Dragon, ended up with BigOne.

Crown looks awesome when I bought my helmet ( LS2 big one - red and black ) , I looked at all these new designs from ls2 .. But the problem was , these helmets belong to the LS2 ff-350 series of helmets ( phobia , cartoon are all part of this series ). The phobia and cartoon dont let me put my glasses on properly so I decided against any of the ff350 helmets.
So i ended up with big one and i simply LOVE it !! super solid , been using it for 3 months now , pics are in the thread somewhere. It doesnt have any funky graphics but looks nice. and its easily the best feeling helmet for the price ( i paid 2.7k ).

Only two stores have LS2 lids in Wellington. And prices are much higher than those in other cities + limited stock/design and size.

@ Neil.Jericho - Sure buddy! Here are some pics of the padding. I bought this helmet when I visited Singapore for some work. Did my research online and found a good store (read as heaven) for helmets and other motorcycle parts / accessories etc. PM me if you want the address, in case you want to get it from there. I paid ~250$ Singapore for it, which is roughly Rs9,000, more or less the same price online, only thing is I did not have to pay duties and shipping! Also got a very cool looking motorcycle helmet bag for free, with the no 46 emblazoned on it!

I have been reading this thread from start the past few days.. About 2 months ago.. People noticed that the prices of ls2 has gone down.. Can someone please update what should be the current prices in mumbai?? I want a big one or cartoon(red).. Also the best place to buy in mumbai..

Absolutely right, had been to helmet shops near Urvashi theatre, B'lore, all shops are stocking LS2 in high numbers, salesmen are literally begging to buy them, we need to just negotiate at various shops to get the right price. Last week I saw one guy gave 2K for LS2, that too with no much negotiation, Cross is available for starting 1.5K, most Indian brands 5-20% off on MRP. Better go one or two friends(LS2 buyers) & you can get for less than 2K.

i am planning to buy a new lid to match my new coming soon CBR250R (Red/silver).. Can any one suggest me a helmet with similar combo?? i like the LS2 cartoon.. but never seen it in red.. but heard it also comes in.. So would be cool if someone can post any pic of the same or similar combo..

Its Icon Airframe Crossbone Racer Helmet. It should be around 18 -20K INR according the price I have checked. You have more options for that price range.

I guess there is already one matt black available by the LS2 but i cant say the same about a gloss one & yes it is available with TRANSPARENT visor too. The bag is free with all the LS2 helmets. LS2 is the same brand marketed by vega. IMO vega offers a very few models of LS2 to choose from.
