Got my roadhead!

Yeah yippie!! I finally got my LS2 Targa Edition Road Head! I love it... For over 2 months had been silently viewing and reading all the threads and posts on xBhp to lock down on a helmet brand... And you guys have been awesome! Also got my Cramster jacket.. But i guss thrs anthr thread to discuss that... Will post pics soon...

LS2 Visor in Coimbatore/Bangalore

I recently bought a LS2 FF301 helmet, it came with silver tinted visor.
I want to change it to clear visor.
Can anyone guide me as to where can I find the same either in Coimbatore or Bangalore??
With the tinted visor night drives are a pain.( Read Impossible )

purchased a clear visor for ls2 from helmet shop opposite urvashi theater in bangalore.... you can find one there for 400-450 rupees...

I've been doing some research (just Googling, really, but "research" makes me sound smarter) on helmets to help my with a purchasing decision and I found this link - SHARP Helmets - THE HELMET SAFETY SCHEME

It's a UK Department of Transport initiative so I trust it to be unbiased and objective. They do independent testing (protection only, comfort/features not accounted for) of helmets and also mention approximate price so it's quite consumer friendly. Naturally, they test UK models but some of those are available here; You do also get an idea from the results of the quality of certain brands.

Appears to me that Marushin, AGV, LS2 do well. Among other knowns, KBC and Sparx are ok. Nolan and Nuvo do a little better. Surprisingly, Arai doesn't do so great for the price.

Guys if I buy a cruiser helmet, the open face one. Wont it be uncomfortable on the highways due to the sunlight falling directly on the face?
