Did you see those Chinese made LS2 helmets in Helmet paradise??
I was planning to get a LS2 next weekend.

There`s no difference between chinese ls 2 and isi ls2 or vega ls2..All LS2 helmets are designed by experts in SPAIN but made in china.If u c any ls2 packagae box,its clearly mentioned designed in europe and made in china.
its same with sony.Their bravia tvs are designed in japan but made in china.It doesnt mean the quality is inferior

Bought a Vega Shadow White and Red from Helmet Paradise JC Road Bangalore for 2450/- (2 cotton head caps free ;-) )

Balaji was ready to give the same model with Black (in place of white) and Red for 2300/- (after using all bargaining tactics) but i like White and Red.

Other LS2 were available for 2-2.2K range, but i found the built quality of Shadow better then the rest LS2 (most of which were china made and re branded)
Weight: 1500gms.
Visors: Clear, Shade, Mercury
Pros:
It has good sound insulation, I have tried it up to 90Kmph. No whistling sound at high speed (as found in some LS2).
Good wind ventilation (the vents are operational and not dummy) i did a 350Km highway ride with it
The visor (Shade) is amazing, great for day riding, good for Twilit and night driving in street light. Not so good for pitch dark driving with headlights on.
So it can be used almost at all times.

Cons:
It's quite bigger then other helmets...

I think most of these helmets are made in China (just like many other things)
What I am talking about is that there are some helmets made by some chinese companies (i.e. Diamond etc.) and are rebranded as LS2. You can clearly see the name of the manufacturing company on back of the helmet...
The quality is just a bit less (only if you have compaision available) and so is the price.

white n red is very hard to find ..

I think Bangalore is cheaper only for Helmet... (maybe coz Vega is from Karnataka and and there is huge consumption in Bangalore )

the other one is fine now. it had a broken visor (now fixed a new one). broke it on the same day when we were going to Kaas. so, had to borrow a helmet. and there popped up the good idea of having a spare helmet

i bought it from A2Z Motorcycle Superstore in mulund. It is authorised dealer of PlanetDSG.

Edit:- just for ur info, the one shown in the pic is not mine. mine is named AWAKE, with skulls on it. looks beautiful. go to PlanetDSG website. u will have pic of.
