Need suggestions for proper winter gloves, I'll be using them strictly in Dec-Feb so the warmer the better.

Heya, planning on up your same combo - furious and coolpro mesh pants. Any additional feedback on them after using then for 6 months?

When it snows here in Uttarakhand, I have relied on my regular leather gloves with a 0° undergloves from Decathlon.
This year I am going to try my Raida RainX and Solace Striker for the same job. I think both will hold pretty well, but for below 5 degrees I may need undergloves nevertheless.

Also look at Warmee warmer packet for gloves.

I am using same combo for touring, very happy, jacket has been with me since 40k kms or more, pants are new and have done around 8-10k kms on that (faulty odo for few kms)
My daily run is 100-200 kms, everyday.
            Hope this helps you.

Enjoyed the read through thoroughly! Though I would assume (as a complete noob on this subject) that safety testing has to be bad on the most frequent type of accidents seen as that is expected to happen more often, hence SHARP has those specific areas tested.

That's a really good tip about the 0° under gloves, I'll get a pair.
One more question though, if I increase the budget a bit, can I get something which is made of leather and offers the same functionality in winters. The temperature hardly goes below 5 degrees where I live and I was looking to get a single pair of gloves which can get the job done. Something from DSG for example?

Have been reading through few of the previous pages and yes, this combo seems to be doing great. I really wish they had some color options as I'm not too in favour of a full black riding jacket esp for long rides. But thanks for the note!

Even if your helmet does not have removable padding, just using tepid (slightly warm) water and a mild laundry detergent like Woolite original (hand wash) will be more than sufficient. Just close the shield and vents, add a small spoonful of the detergent and fill the helmet about halfway with tepid water. Massage the padding by hand to get it thoroughly soaked and loosen all the accumulated grime, then open all the vents and shield, drain, and refill with just warm water a few times to rinse out the soap residue. Leave the shield and vents open, press the water out of the padding, turn the helmet upside down (neck opening up) and let it air-dry in a shaded area with good ventilation. Do not dry in direct sunlight as that will damage the EPS foam protection. Washing removable padding is the same, except you can just dump the padding into the bucket of tepid water and detergent, and work them by hand there.

Once washed, press the water out of the padding (do NOT twist), hang the padding away from sunlight in a well-ventilated area to dry. While that's drying, you can gently wash the inside of the helmet shell with warm water and woolite also. Do not use a heavy scrubbing motion, and do not use a cloth or sponge; just your hand. Otherwise you will damage the EPS. You can use earbuds (Q-tips) to clean out vent holes.
I haven't heard of Woolite as of now (I'm in Blore). Few of my past research has recommended using Shampoos instead of detergent or soap as they can make the liners more rough and impact the padding negatively (I can't get the exact words to describe it :-)). Have you heard of this before?

Solace Defender Plus, Rynox Tornado seem to be the top 2 options across this thread (for this price range).

Have been using the Tornado Pro since years now. One of the best jackets that I have used till date.
Go ahead with whatever you like.

I got no experience on these but I'd suggest you checkout cramster's website.

Their blaster range seems interesting but, these are semi gauntlet gloves.

If anyone has experience on cramster blaster v2 please share. Im look forward to get them for myself aswell.
