Balaji is a cheat! even when its clearly mentioned on the dsg website that dealers are not supposed to overcharge for their items, Balaji still overcharges. I went to Balaji the other day and asked the price of the motomesh gloves and he quotes me Rs.1160 ! that's a clear markup of 310 over the regular price. he agreed to reduce when I told him that I know about those gloves.

One must do thorough price research before entering that shop!

When I had been there last for the same gloves, he quoted 900 bucks, & when i told him that he's over-quoting, he came down to 850 bucks immediately..
Not that i bought the moto-mesh gloves though (got a better pair of Pro-Biker ones)..
btw, did you finally buy the moto-mesh?

No. He did not have black ones.... and he showed me the probiker one as well.... I picked that up but the fit wasn't good and my knuckles hurt within 10 mins of riding. I went back and returned it to him and asked him to get me the black motomesh. He said he'll get it for me for 900 and not less than that. He still cheats when he sees the opportunity!

Those guys are major crooks which is why I stick to the Yamaha showroom opposite Forum mall for DSG stuff. My next pair of gloves however are going to be Cramster full gauntlet ones. Really comfy with lots and lots of feel. I had set my eyes on DSGs gauntlets but Cramsters are better IMO.

Unrelatedly, I checked out the new shop on JC road which Avin had posted about a few pages back - it stocks 'Joe Rocket' jackets and other stuff. The gloves on offer were pretty sad. The jackets on the other hand look like the real deal - second and third looks guaran-damn-teed. However the protection that they have in the shoulder area felt quite soft and flimsy.

I am using the Cramster Twist semi-gauntlet gloves for touring&they feel very good, only thing missing is wrist protection, since it is not a full gauntlet!

I was surfing and stumble upon this jacket more of rain gear. Its from Vega. Any pointers where can I get and for what price....I stay in Trivandrum and monsoon is coming and its going to be a helluva lot worse here....any help
