You won't get proper protection from something that can be 'folded' like a shirt - at least I'm not aware of anything like that. The armors of a jacket and riding pants will definitely not "fold".

Since different brands have different sizing measurements, I'd suggest you decide the brand and jacket first before determining the size. Same applies to the boots.

Guys i'm planning to get a DSG nero jacket for myself and i'm in Bangalore so i guess the nearest place for me is Pune.
Now the question is how can i determine the size that would be apt for me?
I've got 2 options in hand for me.
1. I'll decide the size and order the jacket.
2. Ride down to Pune for that

ANy help for determing the appropriate size??My thoughts...

Or you could always go to Orion Motors, opposite Forum Mall. They are the official DSG distributors besides being the Yamaha dealers. You might get the jacket there itself, if not, then you might get the correct size so that you can order it online.Originally posted by harshit.d View PostGuys i'm planning to get a DSG nero jacket for myself and i'm in Bangalore so i guess the nearest place for me is Pune.

+1. Almost all of us Bangalore xbhpians have bought our jackets from Orion.Originally posted by maraque View PostOr you could always go to Orion Motors, opposite Forum Mall. Ive always found a snug fit to be better. The problem with a loose fit glove is that you will need to keep adjusting it if you are on a long ride.Originally posted by kinshuk.arya View Posti got a pair of cramster MX3 gloves but within 15-20 minutes of riding my hand starts aching..... plus i want to know whether the gloves should be tight fitting or a bit loose for optimal performance??
