Now, I have 2 important queries-

    1. Should a glove be slightly loose fitting when you try it, so that when you fold your fingers and grip the handle/levers, you have enough space OR should it be very snug as leather expands on usage? (I've heard both sides, Performance Racing Store in M'bai advised the former, while I see many here advise the latter)

    2. Is the Carbon fibre knuckle protector faux CF or the real deal? Saw some comments on previous pages suggesting it ws just CF- finished and not the real stuff. Spartan specifically says CF- finished on their site while the rest state Carbon fibre. What's the truth?
    1. Listen to the experts. PRS knows what they're taking about. Gloves should be slightly loose as leather expands AND contracts. Too tight and your fingertips will hurt. Kind of like a shoe, buy gloves with just that little bit of extra room and about half an inch extra at the finger tips.

    2. Difference between telling the truth and appearing to. Carbon Fibre at the 2K price point? My big toe! Every single brand at this price point can only use polycarbonate moulded knuckle protection with carbon fibre finish. Genuine carbon fibre knuckles alone would cost more than the gloves. However, fret not since PC is more than adequate for the job, and does not require CF.

Ideally, the gloves should have a little room for the fingertips to move about, else the blood circulation would be hampered. That isn't desirable to say the least. When ordering online, if you go by the measuring procedure given in some websites, and you find your size exceeding a certain fit, then get the fit one size up. For example, according to Plantedsg,my size was M , but I ordered one size up;i.e. L. That got me a perfect fit.

It's totally faux CF. Exactly what @Sunnyside_up said,at the price point of less than 4k,getting actual CF is impossible

Finished CF and genuine CF more or less are the same finish wise and I'm glad someone brought up that question. Genuine CF is very expensive and that's why you see CF furnished cars/accessories are bloody expensive.

Now when it chimes to gloves, though certain views shared, let me share my personal experience. Wearing tight gloves where your fingers do some minute pressure oriented movements your fingers go numb at the tips which overtime tires your palm and then pain in wrist.

Little gap is must as the glove does expand and shrink depending on weather. Make sure it has freeplay but not significant freeplay which practically makes the glove prettymuch useless.

        Cheers!

It's basically the TGP Air, with a thermal liner, IMHO. Though I've never had a chance to wear them, the construction is basically the same with TGP Air, but with an added thermal liner. Whereas the TGP Plus and TGP Plus Air, the former has a full liner and the later doesn't have a liner, but the ARGON comes with thermal liner with bascially the same shell outside. So it's your take. But I'd suggest for TGP Plus for practical purposes.

Thanks for clearing the air guys, I was hoping allowing a wee bit space is the way to go as I'm pretty uncomfortable with those tight Rynox gloves. And I was pretty sure the world 's not so generous to offer real CF for ~2k
So Kombat loses the battle and Revive lives to fight another day. Am gonna take a trial of all the Spartan gloves again and make a decision.

Now that I have the saddle bag, tank bag, Revive Gloves, Cross helmet, Scoyco knee elbow guards, leather jacket, now want to get a jacket for Gurgaon summers and for office commute.

Confused between the RJays Swift vs Spartan Helios, for Gurgaon Summer . Rjays current discount and free shipping makes it almost 1K cheaper then Helios and some have commented that both are at par on quality

RJays Swift and Spartan Helios are both mesh jackets, but HELIOS gets the slight edge being with the armor it provides and the perfect VFM beginner jacket out there. RJays Swift has been here for more than a year and has gotten good reviews, but Spartan is eating the share and fast and it shows.

Both are good jackets. The decision is yours. If you find the RJays cheaper then go for it, and if you want the little advanced armor (though nothing big of a difference) you can go for HELIOS.

Yes PGS gear, they have their HO in Karol Bagh Delhi and I guess their stuffs are manufactured in our neighboring country. But it's all on-par jackets I'd reckon, nothing too bad nothing too good to praise. Just the same as all usual jackets out there.

There haven't been any reviews as such of PGS stuffs here, but I guess you can try them and see how they fare.
