I have stored my Joe rocket UFO 2.0 mesh jacket and forgot where I kept it for almost a year. Found it today to see the CE approved armors(shoulder) have been torn into pieces. I think this is normal wear property of the rubber when stored.

Man I am going mad here. Can the rubber "just like that" disintegrate into pieces, I mean the armor? I mean some sellers even stack jackets that are more than a year old, right and still sell it

How did the foam protectors go into pieces man, really, astonished . Why don't you explain that a little bit more, please.

I think these are meant for cycling and definitely not meant for motorcycling. They look like arm elbow guards just with foam I guess.

yesterday I jumped from my bed with this stuff on my knee, nothing happened. But I am sure this will not have abrasion resistance.
only thing in favor of these is that its better than nothing

Wow, now thats what i call leap of faith, pretty bold move mate.
And yes you guessed right, it wont provide abrasion resistence, so better to start saving up and invest in quality gear.

Is Joe Rocket Alter Ego 3.0 really worth its price? I haven't seen other jackets yet. This will be my first jacket. I have only checked out few jackets from Joe Rocket.

I will be checking out other brands like DSG, Cramster and the likes this coming weekend. Any other brands to look out for which has good looks and good safety ratings as well ? may be around 10K mark ?
