Who said I'm not broken ?

iPhone 5 loss is still unknown to parents.
I got the Money for this month expenses and so I made this purchase.

I usually spend 4-5k per Month In petrol.
So if I ride a bit less for 2 month. It covers a lot of thing :P

And then some here & there savings and its kind of done.

Don't pay even a penny more than 350-400 for the pro-biker glove if you buy.
Else online options are also there as Pranav stated above.

While I made the purchase because I wanted to invest in some good stuff for a 1-1.5 tension free riding and usage.
I gotta try some other stuffs also :

I did tried the Cramster Blaster (Full Black, Short Glove) & Cramster TRG2 (Black-white Full Size Glove).

The fitting of both the gloves fits very well.
Ballast is very good for city rides and for fast wearing under a Traffic signal or when you are in Hurry.
But the TRG2 being a fills or glove need some time to get you hand and fit.

Both the glove seems very protective with those knuckles around the fingers.

I finally made re purchase of "TRG2".
As I wanted a full size gloves.
Price : 2300rs.

*Full review and hd pics to show projectors to be posted soon*

The Jacket :

The shop owner had a big stock of Jackets and not like other shop keepers I've seen that bring jacket from other place when you call and if you ask for a other size or model then again wait for them to bring.

I tried the Cramster Breezer 4.0 (5450rs), Cramster Eclipse (7250rs), Cramster K2K Airflow (6450rs)

All the jackets were awesome fitting.

K2K was kinda long jacket Not like our riding jacket till waist only.
And had written all over "Airflow". So I guess the airflow must be good in it.

Eclipse was the highest price jacket but had the leather parts on jacket. A bit heavy than Breezer. Looks cool but right budget + I don't like leather jacket.
So I took the Breezer.

With rain liner + thermal liner. It looks so much comfortable.
After revving those it looses some weight + a good mesh jacket for daily purpose.

The all black jacket is what I was looking for it so I finally got it.
It won't attract the people around you, because it looks so much like a normal stylish jacket.

*More review + HD pics soon*

And now :

Man I was so confirmed that I have to buy Cramster knee Guard (1800rs) Also.
But then I gotta see the KNOX KNEE GUARD (4300rs)

The Cramster design was exactly the same aa the Fox is available on eBay for 500-600 but yes the quality and build was obviously its Cramster.

The Knox protector.
1 word : Mind-Blown

The build was so robust, Matt black finish. Completely safe enough to save us.
But the price was near I riding pants + these knee guard scratches my P220's tank.
So I have to go with Riding pants only.

The shop owner had all Cramster items,
Wildcraft bags, high quality bungee wires, those mountaineering compass, knifes, utility tools, tents, and what not lol.
And all in display. Not kept in a side.

If someone from Thane, Mumbai looking of a variety of shopping.
Do have alook there.

I got 10% off on total money also

Shop name : Straubs
Shop No. 5, Dada Patil Wadi, Near Thane Station, Thane West.

How to reach : Go to Thane Station West and call the owner on his number.

Great review of your latest purchases, Sird. I'm looking for a riding jacket too and I've zeroed in on the Breezer because of its easy availability here in Pune and its no-nonsense looks with pretty good features for the price. Your impressions of the product will definitely help me. Thanks for the review.

Getting a scholarship soon and thinking of buying this jacket Xelement Men's Retro Brown Premium Buffalo Distressed Leather Embossed Cruiser Biker Jacket My reason for buying it is it won't attract much attention due to its somewhat casual look and it could be used for non biking purpose too. So is it a good jacket and worth buying? Anybody imported anything from Leatherup.com before? I'm also planning to buy some wearable armor to wear under casual dress, Anybody got some good suggestions for wearable armor?

Have been a user of Leather up jacket for close to 3 years now(this one in particular Xelement Men's CF-624 Armored Race Motorcycle Jacket ). The build quality is good and will last for a generation. The only drawback i felt was the absence of arm protector adjusters. If you are not a well built person the protectos will not be in place during normal times, forget in times of impact. Apart from this i have no complaints what so ever about the jacket.

The jacket that you have quoted is a ready made oven for Indian weather conditions, though it offers good protection. Would prefer to have a mesh jacket for Indian Conditions, any day unless you are going abroad to some temperate countries.

Thanks TJ for the inputs. Now, I am still in dilemma. The Rynox combat gloves look to offer more protection than Pegasus, especially the little finger. But, the Combat gloves are way above my budget. The pegasus seems to be attractive due to its pricing and the reviews.

But in case of pegasus i can say with full satisfaction , if you are looking for comfort and ventilation and good protection then the Pegasus is a very good choice, though it is basically a city gloves, i have used it for touring and has served me well, even in the munnar monsoons..!! So you can get an idea.
But it wouldn't be fair to push off rynox, do wait around and see if any one else has any reviews, and make the right decision.

Thanks Krisha for the inputs. Pegasus seems to be good gloves. I am considering Rynox gloves because the tank bag that I got from them seems of excellent quality. I am expecting the same commitment from Rynox for quality in gloves too. The gloves seems to offer very good protection too. I found a rider in Hyderabad who bought them. I personally have to check them this weekend.

I have heard about that fitting problem before, that's why I'm opting for the unarmored version of the jacket. I'm not well built, I just weight 48kg, and I'm 5'7. I used to weight like 84 kilo about a few years ago but after some incidents lost too much weight to the point that my old denim jacket fit too loosely now. I opted this jacket for winter use only, for summers I plan to buy some wearable armor and wear it under my college uniform. I don't have a good jacket currently so it'd serve as a casual wear too. Any suggestions on wearable armor? It'd be a convenience if the elbow protector is detachable.

I think the price difference between Pegasus and Kombat is hardly 200 bucks. Mind u, it really is a difficult choice! After all, I would suggest you to try both of them n choose the one in which you feel your palms n fingers would be safer!

Regarding Rjays, I had myself considered that option. Not many people have used the Canyon, though they look good. I called the person in charge (I think Mr. Zulfi) and the response was very bad so dropped that option then n there.

VFM money glove at 1k. You need to understand one thing, Value at 1k is nothing but woolen gloves!

Now, get yourself something better. Pro-biker aren't bad, but they cannot and aren't be termed as motorcycle gloves, as they are textile, and using a textile has its own demerits when you take fall, as it will easily get ripped and expose flesh and you know what next! Road rash, and that's nothing compared to hell and even worse broek bones etc.

Save some 3k and you are well over for a good leather glove and adequate protection.
Sird, great going.

There are detachable armor sets avlbl like FOX elbow and knee guards. But investing in a good mesh jacket gives you three fold advantage of shoulder protection, coupled with skin saving nylon, the more you're protected with something the more you're better. And removing these removable armors are pretty clumsy in an office or college situation, and that's where a simple mesh jacket comes into play, you have the advantage of all in one without having to fiddle with them again when you need to put them back, whereas in a jacket you can just wear them back and you're all set.

Thinking from a practical perspective will give you lots of pros for the jacket as opposed to detachable armor.

Cheers!

I'm getting the jacket for dual purpose, it'll serve as casual wear too. I was talking about buying something like this to wear under my shirt CE Approved Full Body Armor Motorcycle Jacket-L : Amazon.com : Automotive or FOX Titan Sport Jacket : Amazon.com : Sports & Outdoors and wear it under my shirt to college. If I go on rides I can put the leather jacket on for abrasion resistance.

These ones are motocross stuffs, and they are really really clumsy to wear in and around the city unless you want to be completely a hermit of some sort. And moreover the merits and demerits of these were discussed long back. These would best suit a motocross rider, but not normal city use. Now would you carry this? A jacket is flexible and comparatively light weight. This is clumsy and non mendable and in a shopping or in such a situation, this is a real pain in the arse.

Rest is completely upto ones own discretion.

I see, I'm dropping the idea of getting the jackets. BTW 50% of my rides are on the highway and rest are on dirt roads full of large rocks and potholes. I'll take some pictures of the road tomorrow. I barely do any city commuting as the city is far away from where I live. Anyway dropping the idea of buying riding gears as the scholarship amount is lower than I expected. Maybe next year, I'll buy them.

The body Armour quoted , the Armour are CE approves, the cloth between them can be torn with the slightest effort of your finger, need not necessarily be in times of impact but while wearing/removing the jacket too. If I was in a similar situation, I would still go with a proper jacket for better protection. Wearing a body armour underneath your shirt is a very uncomfortable feeling. Anyways its your call, you are at liberty to choose from.
