Sir, I would like to bring to your attention that snapdeal is an online platform for selling stuff, where different sellers sell their products. If any authorized SPG dealer has put up the riding gears for sale through snapdeal then I guess the purchase receipt supplied by him will be accepted at SPG for any purpose if needed.

    Warm Regards,

for a long while i was searching for a good riding jacket but couldn't find one which suited my needs.
then one fine day a friend of mine suggested to try Kominie riding jackets. So i went to Torqued Apparels and found this jacket Kominie Forzax. now this is not a mesh jacket but as my job needs me to stay at Reckong Peo a cold place thats no problem and if i do need to go to hot places it does have zipped air vents which should make it comfy. it is water proof and has got woolen liner which is removable. now i rode whole day in rain and snow but i didn't got wet neither i felt any cold. it has got c e approved elbow, shoulder and back protector and in addition to that it also have chest protector. The material if jacket is very good and by far i am totally happy with what it has to offer.

I have already clarified that SnapDeal and BikeGear.in are NOT authorised sellers. SPG resellers are also NOT authorised to deal with these platforms. I know for a fact that BikeGear.in actually goes out and purchases a helmet against every order, and he makes his money off VAT differences and shipping, which he charges but claims is free. I believe that SnapDeal is doing the same and SPG is trying to stem that leak. SPG will NOT honour any warranty claims for products bought outside its authorised distribution.

With a budget of 5.5-6k, apart from Rjays Swift and Spartan Icarus, what are the other jacket options that I have? Mesh preferred. I'd also like the one which comes with a good quality rain-liner.

I got myself these Timberland boots on Christmas. Hioefully they'd serve a great job as riding boots - they are sturdy, the leather is real tough and the protection is good. I took a short test tide and they seemed comfortable. Only issue was that the shims were not adjustable.

I bought two items from Revzilla.com, an AGV K3 Rossi Icon helmet (Rossi replica with his signature)
and a Sidi SDS New York riding shoes. Great customer service and a super service.

It cost me US$100/- and they are readily available in many sizes. They come in European sizes.
I guess this is meant for your everyday ride and not for hard core riding. The 'upper' is made
of suede leather and not waterproof. This is also not meant for cold weather riding.
You can get all the details including customer reviews at their website revzilla.com,
just search for Sidi SDS New York riding shoes.

Helmet cost me US$219.95, shipping via usps international priority express mail and it cost me around $58/-.
Took about 13 days, considering it was during X'mas time which is pretty hectic for the US Postal Service, it wasn't
all that bad. Wire transferring the money cost about Rs 933/- or something, Rs 30/- was the taxes on it.

                                Riding brothers,
I am looking for complete riding gear for my 390. Things to consider- Will be riding/touring in hot chennai weather- Protection, ventilation and quality important.
Considering Joe rocket ufo mesh jacket- 180$- http://www.revzilla.com/product/joe-...-ufo-20-jacket. or dainese airframe.
Also looking for riding pants (agv sport solare), gloves (A* smx2?) and boots (A* smx1,2)? - which is not uncomfortable for walking and can be worn with jeans to work.
Budget for jacket-10 to 15k, gloves- 4k, boots- 8-10k. pants- 5-7k. These are expensive for me, but hoping that these will protect and last long.
please suggest places where i can try this (chennai/bangalore) or buy online. i have overseas friends who can send/bring gear to india.
