Hey man, I too had such a difficult choice. I went on a search and had to decide between DSG SPARTAN PSG and RYNOX.
I went searching to many shops, and had a few friends with me to help me out. Being in Pune I visited all stores from Planet DSG to MOTO ONE O ONE, Pro Biker ,etc. Lastly I ended up at MOTO Central at Nana peth. The sales guy showed me two jackets which fit my size requirements. A RYNOX AIR GT and SPARTAN ICARUS. Both the jackets cost ₹5500-6000/ . I was going to buy the SPARTAN over the RYNOX when we discovered that the welcro which is one the sleeve end would get stuck in the jacket mesh causing the mesh to get stuck and erode with the welcro. Even being a new piece it had signs of wear. Seeing this I didn't feel worth investing in the SPARTAN. The welcro design on the RYNOX is reversed hence no sticking or rupturing of the jacket due to welcro is possible. Other than that both the SPARTAN and RYNOX have good pads and liners. The RYNOX I bought is an Air GT version and it has two liners ,a rain liner and a thermal one. All the pads are removal-able, which means you could upgrade them in future instead of buying a whole new jacket. Safe riding. Hope this information was useful.

Hell yeah dat was pretty useful info. I will have a look at the spartan though just for my own piece of critcism too...

Btw have u tested the air gt in rains and winters. I am looking at a trip to oeh in september but will obviously be wearing thermals and stuff. Will gt do ?

Sorry gaurav, i just got mine a few days ago, i still have to test it for myself in the rains as well as the chills. if possible try to check the rynox roadster if it has a better therman lining.

Yes they do come with KNOX Hip, Knee and Shin armor

But the adjuster above the elbow of right side broke just the day bought i bought it in morning and rode it the time i adjusted it was there and now when i was going for a ride its not there [emoji30][emoji30][emoji30][emoji30] how is that possible for that heavy quality of jacket

Yes they do come with KNOX Hip, Knee and Shin armor

But the adjuster above the elbow of right side broke just the day bought i bought it in morning and rode it the time i adjusted it was there and now when i was going for a ride its not there [emoji30][emoji30][emoji30][emoji30] how is that possible for that heavy quality of jacket

Even I bought the same a month back. In your case it might be some manufacturing defect, have a word with the dealer see if he can help you out.

I called him.. He said i should mail the rynox with the pic and invoice and courier the jacket to them...!!! I mean what the hell..!! Again courier it means 10 days no jacket...!!! [emoji22] ATGATT

Same thing happened with me bro. I ordered from Outdoor Travel Gear in their Diwali sale. The wider setting button fell out right when I pulled it for the first time 😅. Had thought of asking a replacement but since I needed tight sleeve anyways and the other button looked good so didn't bother for it.

And it's going strong till now. ☺ Rynox has a good customer support reputation. So they should give a replacement. But you will have to be without jacket for few days which is hard once you get used to it.

It doesnt worry me but i paid the cash for whole jacket so let it b 10 days but i need a brand new jacket cuz he didnt even gave me a discount of 50rs [emoji30][emoji36]

You would need to elaborate a bit further my friend. Was it the features or the fit or the finish which is stopping you.

Alpinestars are known for quality. I'm just not sure if I should spend the extra money when I can buy a Rynox which has pretty much the same features and more.

Buy Rynox Tornado Pro. I am using it since 6 months. Very VFM and quality jacket.
