Nalir, If you go one page back we have two members saying a big no-no for Triton in hot and humid conditions, so first decide your need and start shortlisting.

P.S Aesthetics do matter but they come last.

Nalir - Do one thing; go to Velavan Motors at Valasaravakkam; try some jackets out there; ask them few question but..DO NOT make any purchase. Even a balaclava. You'll get some basic education & you may even try out a few. Then come back, go through the websites, you'll now have much much better understanding

where in chennai ? through mr.sunny? i tried visiting his shop in ECR(panayur) as address given by contacts in SOL Helmet India but i could not find it anywhere in panayur .. where is the exact location?

Where does one get Knee, elbow gaurds and back protectors in chennai?

A few people here have good experience with Crapster; personally, I'd 3 products MX3, Stallion & Colt; gloves gave away in less than 6 months which is like 4-5K kms; Stallion was burnt by Rx, Colt was burnt by CBR. Needless to say more!!!

So I don't prefer any products from Crapster. If you want to hear anything positive about them, ask Neil Jericho.

Guys, anyone around here know anyone who sells the GoPro or any HD helmet cam in India? I'm having hard time sourcing the dealers' name and et al. If anyone is planning to sell their helmet cam or suggest a good place for the same, that'd helpful.

Did have plans of checking out the place. For buying Helmet and gloves. (another pair of gloves and another hmm.. the popular term.. 'lid')

I have seen their jacket.

Now what do I do about the bags? Go ethinc with an old duffel and orange (NO I do not like PINK) nylon ropes? . More ethnic would be a one gunny sack with most of your stuff inside... only problem, Id look like santa claus (claws?) Since the weather men are already a confused lot, I would like to spare them!

Da1AnOnlyHermit - You walk, run, ride or fly to Pannayur or non-pannayur, there's no one who could help you other than yourself. Define your requirements clearly than sack & Santa Clauss. Then go looking for one in the market; the links have already been provided may be you can add Spartan Progear in addition, if you want to.

If you've your requirements defined clearly, then, you'll never regret your purchase.

But I agree with you aargee. Cramster... oops, crapster quality is pathetic and is surviving only due to fan following from the RE club.

Check with Sunil Silva (sunny silva on fb) for spartan gear. Performance racing store stocks some nice knee guards that dont cost an arm and a leg.

Spartanprogear.com | Under Construction this is their site and currently it's under construction and should be up in a while from what I've enquired from.

I've already contacted them regarding their gear and they are in full swing establishing the dealer process, and the response from them is quick and excellent.

I might go for their stuffs pretty soon!

Hi Eshan, You can contact Sunil (no. sent via PM to you). Their operations are based in Chennai but they have presence in Bangalore and some other cities too. They have plans to expand operations across India. Speak to Sunil for more information.

Here is a link to another site for Spartan products. The riding gear is yet to be updated on the site.
