Since it's a mesh jacket, while riding I am not that fluttered. It's only when at a stop, I feel the warmth but way better than textile jacket. The only downside people may say is the leather present in shoulders, cuffs & waist. But it's a good quality leather & if you just take care of it, it won't be a problem.
I went to DSG's dealer last Friday & found out A-star & Cramster mesh jackets available too. Cramsters is priced closely to the DSG while A-star, but obvious, is pricey.
thanks.. rx100...but, what about its water resistance?..heared that its not good as nero...

after searches, ended up in 3 models. dsg nero, dsg maze, dsg pheonix...
which is the best out of these?..
i like the looks of DSG Phoenix and maze...but, not like the looks of nero..
also i like to know whether NERO is available in red also?..
what about dsg falcon?..is there any rain liner in it or not?..whether it comes with red color too?
      help friends...
How about the second one in the list = RJays Jackets - BIKES I RIDING GEAR I PERFORMANCE ACCESSORIES I SPARES

Cost only 4.9k. They are giving 1000Rs off on Rjays but that specific model only, also all sizes available.

It fits in your budget and requirements too...Trust me its a steal.

I use DSG Nero it does give you rain protection and proper safety. But its kinda heavy, please try this one out before purchasing it.

Baby, don't expect water resistance from a mesh You can't have all features in one jacket. I wear a rain-coat over the DSG when it rains & it works fine. Even the liner is not sufficient for winters of North but wearing warm clothes inside makes it works brilliantly. So, you make choice according to your need (Airy or water resistance)

Now since they have a dealer here 10kms away from home i wouldnt spend money and time on shipping.

Thats why the confusion... And to tell you it is yet not sorted out.
Oh boy that's great. I thought you were far off, and wanted to let you let you know what I do.

But then as you are so close, then I guess, it's a double whammy to go inspect the stuff in person and choose what you want.

And I hope it gets sorted out. All the best.

Not sure about the two countries you have mentioned, but in near by Thailand, you can try these guys www.blacksteed.com : , not sure if it's of any help, but pricing in Bangkok is on par with Europe for the brands that they carry.

                  • All through the year Jackets

Please help me out in buying a good jacket which would

                    1. have decent protection
                    2. usable all through the year in Bangalore

with a budget of about 5-6K. I would be riding a KTM Duke.

Checked out RJay's and DSG's at Orion Motors near Forum mall, Bangalore. Mesh was available only in RJay's. Are textile jackets good for summer? I did check out websites like dsgplanet.com, bachoomotors.com and revzilla.com.

                    Thanks in Advance!

Great man! Cramster knee guards, when I was planning to purchase a knee guard, saw it in flesh, and really didn't look very appealing, that's first point. Second it looked nothing more except a moulded plastic in the shape of your knees with a velcro.

The quality wasn't that great and for a price of close to 1500 bucks I didn't want to spend so much money on that one.

Considering eBay you can definitely say it's fake which retails around for 650 and so on. I've seen the same FOX Raptor sell for 1872 in another site, 2500 in another site. So for a single product so much price variations.

In my opinion at least 70% of the all knee pads are either fake or replicas made to resemble like original (100% fake). Original kneepads exceed well over 3000 bucks, and speaking of original, Cramster is the only locally made stuff with so called "originality"

So if you like the Cramster, you can go for Cramster kneepads. I use some of their stuffs to, but then I just didn't like their kneepads

                              SCROLL TO THE END!

                              Cheers!
