Try Spartan Progear; I checked Helios today & found the materials uses are almost same as Joerocket. I cannot say 100% same because I haven't put my JR next to Helios & compared side by side. But I'm sure they're of excellent quality & pure VFM

You can use some empty aquafina bottle, If doesn't fits your joints then you can try the ones you mentioned . They can give some abrasion protection but still it is of poor quality and not recommended for safety gears.

1. Identify the purpose - is it going to be everyday commuting, occasional touring or specific use? For everyday use, I would consider weight, durability and the conditions/weather I would face while using it. For occasional touring use, I would be less concerned about weight but more concerned about the kind of weather the jacket would have to face. For specific use like to Leh/Ladakh, I would be focused on the terrain and weather that I would use my jacket in.

2. Be aware that no jacket does it all, inspite of tall claims from manufacturers - no product can be truly all-weather/all terrain/all climates. Its just like no bike can truly be an all-rounder. Bikes can specifically good for touring/track /off-roading and some can even be used in all roles, but most all-rounders are compromises as they are jack-of-all-trades and master of none. You can for example use a KTM 200 for all kinds of terrain, but it cannot excel at all. A specific purpose bike will always be better for that purpose. Your jacket selection is exactly the same.

In order to be truly hot weather, a jacket has to have maximum ventilation and preferably mesh only.

Cold weather jackets should have less ventilation and preferably not be made of mesh, so that air-flow is restricted and insulation can happen.

True water-proof jackets will not allow air to pass through and will seal tightly against the skin, but will be like a steam bath in our hot and humid country. Be prepared to be soaked in perspiration rather than rain!

3. Select based on type of use and budget. I do not like to compromise on my gear and I personally believe in specific use products, so;

On the highway and Street
In hot weather, which is 90% of the time, I use a mesh jacket.
In light rains, I continue to use the mesh jacket with the rain liner.
In heavy rains, I use the mesh jacket with a proper raincoat on top.
In cool weather, the mesh jacket with rain-liner which also serves as a wind-cheater.
In cold weather, I use an all Cordura jacket without mesh to keep the cold out.
In extreme cold, the all Cordura with a thermal liner.

On track - perforated leathers.

While off-roading - mesh jacket with internal body armour.

If you cannot buy more than one jacket, be aware that you will be making a compromise on the purchase as the product cannot do all things perfectly. In this case, my suggestion would be to select a jacket that will be suitable for you in most conditions (with Delhi climate in mind, I think a mesh jacket) and then team it up with a proper rain coat/suit for rains and thermals for cold weather.

I am planning to buy a jacket and i reviewed about DSG Nero and Cramster K2K. Can you tell me which is better. Both are of similar price. 6K and 6.25K. Also I couldnt find enough reviews about Cramster K2k.

Replica ? Is it not the authentic one ? What about the safety standards ? Any other options ? Some other good tried and tested international brand jackets around $150-$175 bracket ?

Hi the model is called "Replica" as the design is a replica from Kawasaki design originally done a few years ago, but the jacket is original JR...is really nice and great fit.

I did visit PRS and try it on before getting it from the US, do that so you get a feel for the right size.
