What is the budget you have? Let us know that, and we'll let you know which one's best. Both are good gloves. Cramster TR2G is a full gauntlet, and revive a half gautlet. For a sub 3k glove, it's best you go for the Cramster or check out the Spartan gloves range.

    The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

      • I currently use a pair of Cramster MX3 gloves, have been using it for close to a year and now planning for an upgrade. Budget - 2.5k. Have shortlisted the following:

        1. Spartan Pegasus
        2. DSG Nitro
        3. DSG Revive

I use my gloves for daily commuting as well as weekend rides. My questions -
        1. Are all the above gauntlet? Full or semi?
        2. Which one of the above would you recommend?

Another option for me is to keep using my MX3 for daily commutes and get gloves to the likes of DSG Primal or Spartan Ares for long rides. Do these provide any wrist protection? What do you say about this option?

        • All the listed gloves are semi-gauntlet AFAIK. Good for daily use. I use a Revive and I love the comfort it gives me. I've also seen the Spartan gloves, and as all other Spartan gears its build well and owners say its quite comfortable too.

Its better to get a full gauntlet gloves for long rides. Wrist protection.... well, not really in case of an accident, but hey, the doctors will have some skin to wrap the bandage in the worst case

          • Thank you guys for replying.Got myself cramster trg2 for 2300 bucks from cramster store in wadala.i also tried revive and found it a bit comfortable than trg2, but i didnt get that feeling of safety like trg2.and I'll be using those mainly for higjway rides.

Spartan has gauntlet, but not sure if it is designed to protect the wrist (Yes for injuries, No for bones). IMHO, it's VFM product.

                Agree completely!

And Teejay, bones breaking is subjective to individual preferences That said, anything that covers more than what it is supposed to it a really good proposition. Safety is prime!

Congrats. You made the right decision. Full gauntlets are excellent for long rides. Enjoy.

                  • Has anyone used the K2K 2.0 Enduro touring jacket? Anyother alternatives in large sizes? 4xl or 3xl? Not looking for a mesh/leather jacket. Would also be greatful for any advice on body armour and back protectors.

                        • Thanks Lijok, RG and VJ. Enquired yesterday on the availability of all the 3 gloves I mentioned earlier (Spartan Pegasus, DSG Nitro, DSG Revive). To my horror, none of them are available in XL. So ultimately I might have to settle for whichever becomes available first. Will keep this thread posted with pics and first impressions when I get my new pair of gloves. Thanks.

EDIT: I happened to speak with DSG Pune, I was told that the Revive was planned to be discontinued, however due to heavy demand they are coming up with one more batch of those gloves.

Did you try RJays? If no, try contacting them, they might be having something for you

Ah, checked out the Rjays Canyon online, they look awesome! Just that the knuckle protection does not look to be at par with Spartan/ DSG. Should I be really concerned about that?

It really boils down to individual preference TJ. Some knuckle protection come as plastic and some with carbon fiber, both both or more or less do their jobs equally, it's just that the carbon fiber has an advantage as it is has good abrasion resistant properties. RJays Canyon is a good proposition if you ask me.
