        • I am looking to go for a pair of entry level gloves for regular commuting purpose, with a budget in and around 1 k and have come across these two Riding Gloves, MX3 - Riding Gloves & DSG MotoMesh Gloves: Black - 950.00Rs

Do I have more options available to choose from other than these two ? ............ and which one should I prefer considering my daily commuting purpose ?? Please guide me to an answer or help me with some link of a previous discussion

          thanks

          Warm Regards,

The latter is pretty much useless and as I've indicated, if you use a bicycle that is . You have DSG Revive and Cramster Blaster, if you can up your budget a little, you have very good gloves to choose from.

            Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
            The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

            THE END

Pls dont waste your money on dsg motomesh, its useless. Mine got worn out in less than 2months. You should extend your budget a little and go for some better options available(avoid mesh ones)

Forget Scoyco at least as of now. They are really good gloves, my cycling gloves are still going strong after 3 years of "RAPE" they are one of the very "undermined" brands out there. But I'd suggest you go ahead and invest in leather, either from DSG or Spartan or Cramster.

                  Cheers!

I need to buy new pair of Gloves as the old ones have deteriorated. I'm thinking to go for DSG Revive. Any suggestions from other brands?

Cramster trg2 if you are looking for full gauntlet. Since ypu have revive in mind dsg need not be further considered.
Then there is spartan gear, dont remember the model name but it's there in their facebok page..both half gauntlet and full gauntlet around you price range.

                      Cheers

                      • Question, since I'm feeling a little blind today!!

I am having trouble between choosing between these two knee guards. Visually which one do you guys think is is longer in the shin area?

                        Alpinestars Reflex

                        OR

                        Alpinestars Vapor

I don't see any difference between the shin area in both Praful. Both are pretty much look the same if you look closely. The textile surface area behind the plastic fitments more or less do have the same breadth and (in end, from that plastic stitch to the end).

The glossy looks are what makes the latter feel a little "bigger" than the former. If I had to choose, I'd go for the red one, personally.

DSG Carbon and DSG Primal, full gauntlet gloves for that price. Else you can stick to DSG Revive, Nitro, short cuff. I'd suggest whatever it is, stick to leather, no textile.

@ Praful - go for the Vapor. Have used the Reflex - the knee cup does not sit well since there is no restraint above the knee and tends to flap around. I havent used the Vapor but am assuming it will work for you.

EDIT - Am assuming that you will be using it above the pants. The Reflex would work ok if worn under the pants.
