Yes PGS has mentioned on their site that the stuff comes from Pakistan.

Anyway "Made in Pakistan" would be far better than the cheapo "Made in China" stuff.

Absolutely buddy. But you and I know why things are made in China, as opposed to just ruling out China is crap, just so we don't want someone starting off "oh China come one, they manufacture stuff, blah blah. So...

Nothing in the 1k range. The least you can get is the Cramster MX3 at 1100 followed by Flux at 1400~ and Spartan Phaeton 1900

              Cheers!

              • Hey guys,

the gloves i am planning to buy should be short cuff as i do not think i would be needing full gauntlets much (i dont ride for long durations) i.e. for daily commuting to work. So, it would be better if you suggest me VFM short cuffed gloves. Also the preference because the mumbai heat sucks and i wud not want my gloves to soak in all the sweat and stink (sweaty hands, cant help it).

Primal and carbon would be full gauntlets as i checked them out, the pegasus is considered in options, but could you suggest some more in this??

                Thanks in advance

You can go ahead and purchase Pegasus or the DSG Nitro or Revive gloves both are short cuff and really good stuff.

                  Cheers!

DSG Acqua is this glove which is water-proof but unfortunately it's not in their website as of now, perhaps out of stock, costs some 2500 bucks. Most leather will protect the hands from slight drizzle, don't expect full waterproof, though specific waterproof will "proof" to certain extent, but not water resistant altogether.

Now Pegasus, all these short cuff gloves fall in the same category they ain't waterproof either, like all basic gloves, just leather glove, but they do all handle light drizzles very well with no seepage whatsoever at least the gloves I've used, not Pegasus. Primal too is a full gauntlet and you can expect some good rain protection from both of these gloves.

                            Cheers!

                            • And how does long term usage under rainy conditions affect the leather?? I mean to say that i have read posts about stiffening of the leather, so is that a concern and will the gloves wear out soon?

Yes it will, any leather, drenched in water and no care will harden, cracken up and lost its sheen. A good way is to shade dry them, as opposed to direct sunlight, because heat directly acted upon too will cause cracks and coarseness. Shade dry them, and just buff them, with godo neutral polish this is for for gloves, for jackets you will need leather creams et cetera.

                                Cheers!
