Since you are in Jaipur I think paying a visit to Delhi on a weekend will not be a big trouble. Please note, most of the shops remain closed on tuesday in Delhi. You may collect the phone number of those shops from my signature link

PGS source their stuffs from our neighbor, Pak. hey have a wide range of jacket, boot, belts, wallets etc. So far there hasn't been any candid reviews of them as such. But I think without trying them in person, these boots shouldn't be considered as such, not just because it's manufactured in Pak but you never know the the stuff will endure after purchasing. So best idea would be to try them in person. So far it's sad to not see any reviews of then especially the boots and jackets.

                Cheers!

i have recently purchased a few things online from PGS, so i can tell you few things-1) there is no problem in product quality. products are ok.2) as its my very recent purchase, i can't comment on reliability, sturdyness, long lasting or not.3) in case of an online purchase, you will be dealing with a man with very less grey matter. although he is kind, understanding, generous and nice chap, who cares for his reputation in market, still grey matter ...matters.

That made me convulse real hard, and I completely second that point. and it reminds me of the convo I had with this chap while back, it just took me a good 15 mins to squeeze the juice out of him to get to know product details and manufacturing base. Phew!

I hope you have, by now, heard good opinion from the seniors.

But let me tell you a personal opinion irrespective of any brand. I think riding boots is one such accessory for which you should atleast have 10k in hand. Other than having a steel toe a riding boot must have an anti-twist feature at the ankle to save you in unfortunate scenes. Moreover it should be breathable (yes there are semi-waterproof ones too) and should have an extra skin at the shifting toe. May be seniors can draw better details over the must-have features a riding boot should have. And so, I think, you should have an idea of such necessary features before you step up for a riding boot.

                      Warm Regards,
                      Pranav

15 mins to squeeze the juice out and . . . .. 23 days and still counting to get the items purchased online at PGS. grey matter. period.

steel toe, steel ankle, steel midsole, water proof breathable liner, shift guard, shin guard, (replacable) toe slider .etc etc.i think the upcoming riding shoes by cramster is worth the wait as its of puma brand, and puma has a technical and manufacturing collaboration with Dianese (one of the best in riding gear). so basically you will be purchasing the stuff designed and manufactured by dianese and styled by puma. although i am still not sure what will be the cost and where will they be manufactured for indian market.

10k for boots.that's a good fraction of my total budget for gear.although I would not blink an eye at that figure had I the resources.jst starting out with proper gear.spartanHelios, dsg gloves, maybe the spartan Perseus are on my list now.along with a new helmet-either studds scorpion or Sol sf1(two opposite spectrum).doubtful of the Vega axor dot ;is it me or did anyone else feel it was kinda light?and sourcing boots not easy at my place.the supposed a* short length boot(the less costly model) looked poor in quality. So have to deal with fakes as well.online I see good offers from bachoos for rjays.but these kinda things we have to wear and see in person first. Thanks for the advice.

A few members had reported few pages back that the half shoe will be around 8K and the long one will be above 10K.

I always encourage a person to buy a genuine product if not premium. It may take you sometime to save buy the wait is worth it when you wear your gear. That day you will find n unnecessary reasons in your mind just to ride your motorcycle. After I came into the xBhp camp in Jan'13 it took me some time to save and buy a few riding gears and I am still saving because there is a lot more in the list, including the boots . So my advice is to hold on till you save.

This boots not only look good but are functional too. The one that i like personally are the Puma Brutale. But its double my budget. So i did my R&D and chup chap bought RE long boots yesterday for 6.5K have uploaded pics. Will ware them only after monsoons as the RE guys did not have the Gators for the boots.
Technical Specifications are not much however it has good built quality a composite toe protector and some ankle protection too.
My first ever riding boots were the regular military boots, so this are
Definitely an upgrade from them. My next upgrade would be this Puma once.Click image for larger version

I am a size 10 however had to pic up size 11 since my toe was not sitting straight in the size 10. I'm pretty happy since my main intentions for the boots is to ride in the winters and i think it will do a good job!

@White Knight .............. many congratulations for the new purchase. They look sturdy. Please do not forget to report back the review after you start using them. The Cramster-Puma is surely a great product for the Indian enthusiasts, but I am yet to see cramster putting up a few safety details about them.
