Just my two cents worth, you have lots of branded motorcycle apparel like BMW, Ducati, Aprilia all these guys do have their own branded apparel, you can just head there and get yourself one. The wise idea would be to purchase all the gears if you're planning to settle there, and use them till they last and get a new pair where you've migrated.

They don't have XXL as of now, I had emailed them and that is what they said.



The website said it is available only in pink, so did not go for it, my sis'd have killed me if I got her anything with pink

I got DSG Nero Jacket for her, hope that works and is tikau and protective
With that got Fox knee guards for now.

I'm still in search for a jacket for me, being gravitionally challenged leaves you with less choice and color

Just wanted to know about this dsg nero. ...because I bought it today itself.

Just wanted to know about this dsg nero. ...because I bought it today itself.

DSG Nero is a good jacket, though with added liners it acts duo as an all weather jacket too. Compared to Maze the older one, this is a comparatively good jacket.

Hello all bikers.
As I've become part of xbhp, I've gained some responsibilities about safety (earlier I was a total junk about this) and made myself fit accordingly.
I'm also committed to educate/enlighten all my friends about the same matter.
A friend of mine used to drive splendor in just sandals,slippers, even after two accidents.
Now I've made him to wear shoes always and full sleeves clothes with decent jeans
But Not everyone can buy riding gears.
At present I've forced him to get a pair of riding gloves (after 2 cracked fingers) and thankfully he has believed in safety while riding.but the thing is, he's not able to spend more than 500-700 bucks on gloves( not everyone can afford Spartan like us)
So I want your suggestions guys. ..
What should be long lasting vfm for him in this impossible 500-700 bucks range. .?
I know all he will get is tiny protection BUT ATLEAST,it's better than bare hands.
Please advice.

Since he rides a splendor, i presume he does more city commuting for which the probiker gloves should suffice though personally the scoyoco should last longer & bargain with vendors since they always try selling them at higher costs but don't expect them to last after a crash since those textile gloves will tear faster than the leather gloves

The issue isn't about cost but rather more on safety that has to implemented both in terms of riding gear & style since no-one can expect the riding gear to protect someone if they ride too carelessly or as in the words of [MENTION=39214]B7ACKTHORN[/MENTION], ride in maruti 800 or Ferrari, if you end up in a nasty accident then neither can save you (sory if i mangled the words) as i almost see people getting hurt everyday, not because of lack of riding gear but rather riding sense & keep up the good work.tc

Not probiking but probiker. Go to chopra / veekay / pardesi in Karol Bagh, they will show you the gloves.

If you are coming from Hanuman Mandir side...take the Gol Chakkar and take the road that goes towards Gaffar / Karol Bagh.
2nd right turn and all the shops are there. Just after you take the 2nd right turn, the first shop is Veekay, after 5 shops its Chopra

+1 for the Scoyo gloves. I would recommend not to go for the Probiker gloves, they are really uncomfortable, especially when the handle vibrates, that bead like structure makes your hands vibrate more and also the textile is too thin to protect the palms. I used probiker for sometime, and after getting pain in my palms threw them away and bought Cross gloves.

You can get Scoyo or the Cross gloves for around 700/750. I got Cross gloves for 700/- in Bangalore (after bargaining) and they are pretty comfortable has thick Suede leather on palms for protection, Knuckle protection, protection for fingers etc.

I am in the market for a new set of riding pants. I ve looked at a few india-based websites and realized that the options are quite limited (also, I don't want to spend big $ )

I am grounded in Chennai, so hot weather wear-ability is important for me. Right now, I manage with knee guards over jeans. A cheapo rainpant when it eventually rains. But on long rides, I don't want to have such a complicated arrangement. I want to ride with my gear on instead of packing an assortment of items to wear when it rains / cold etc.

So guys, please fire away your take on the riding pants available from DSG, Cramster, etc. My budget (7500 or so max) wont get me an alpine* or rukka for sure.
- which is the best one for warm/hot weather like Chennai?
- which one has good waterproof capability? meaning, air vents that I can zip up when wet weather strikes without having to do a lungi-dance at road side trying to wear a rain pant

True ventilation for hot weather means that the pants cannot be waterproof. Air vents that zip up when wet weather strikes and retain its waterproofing capability will mean that the pants cannot breathe in summer. You have to choose one or the other. Both do not coexist
