I checked the Spartan website and tried to buy Helios from there but didn't get any option for buying thermal liner with it. Need I only buy that off-line to get the liner? Also, any reviews about Spartan Odysseus as it comes with thermal liner but Knox armor is missing?

The Odysseus is undergoing a revision and is temporarily out of stock. The model that you saw is probably an older piece. If you want a thermal liner, you have to order direct from SPG but that's dependent on stocks too. If you're looking for a primarily cold weather jacket, check out the Achilles, which is an all Cordura jacket with a venting system for warmer days.

No more scoyoco dealers. I have JK17, been with me for 3 years now. But being a textile jacket , I feel like roasted chicken in hot/humid days. And it comes without liner.
I would suggest to go for Mesh Jacket with liners

Brought a scoyco m09 glove for 600₹, And some other stuff too.

Its a decent bicycle glove. Not meant for "motor" bikes. But neither are pro biker gloves.

My budget didn't allow for rynox rampage. Also, it was the first riding gear, so I wanted to try things out. Right now I'm getting used to it, learning how to effectively ride 200ns with gears on. When the learning will be done, I'll opt for leather gloves
FYI probiker gloves were even worse than woollen gloves. When I touched them,I immediately rejected them.

I even suspect Mr. Devgun is alive (kidding) Even though I contacted him months back for a glove, he haven't even considered to reply, and apart from their Facebook page, their website is down for over a month now. Scoyco jk17 when it was launched was an excellent jacket w.r.t to the price you pay at 3000~ bucks. Personally I am a fan of Scoyco, but the avlblty is a big disappointment.

Thanks for the response. Achilles looks very good. Will check that out but was just wondering that this one doesn't have a thermal liner too. I know I can buy that from SPG but is the liner really needed with the textile jackets? (Not sure since this is my first jacket) I go to Himalayan places which are cold and I won't use the jacket on daily basis but mainly while touring or rarely in city (New Delhi). Also, how would you compare Rynox Stealth with Achilles? Stealth has a better venting system and comes with a CE approved back armor whereas Achilles has Knox armor...Confused now :P

The scoyco 17 jacket is a really good jacket!! Don't know where that company has gone!? I have been using that jacket literally everyday for the past 3.5 years and it's still holding up without any major problems.

true that i had one but it got destroyed by rats then i again iam searching for the same but couldnt find it except in some chinese sites like dx.com and dhgate.com.as its unavailable in india (tried contacting mr devgun but couldnt get a reply) iam thinking of buying a spartan icarus what you guys sugget??
is it any better than jk17???

Whats the cheapest option for buying a jacket?
I am planning a pretty long ride (1200kms), but a little short on cash for a jacket. Would be able to spend around 3-4K, do i have a chance of getting one?
