Re: Universal : Riding Gear Thread
Hey Guys, I was searching for a decent jacket and a helmet for my new RE CL350. After a lot of reading through xbhp posts I decided what I have to purchase. Thanks to such detailed description by all you guys I made up my mind for Aspida Helios jacket and MT Blade helmet.
I went to Chopra Automobiles in Karol Bagh yesterday and got these.

This is the inside of the Blade. I loved the quality of the padding they have used.

The sun visor looks cool but while the whole helmet is sturdy and looks great the internal sun visor has scope of improvement. I don't know, I am new to this so just telling what I felt.

And finally when I tried them...

Re: Universal : Riding Gear Thread
Yes. Carbon fibre is superior to TPU, but none of the brand under consideration provide Carbon Fibre Knuckles as Carbon Fibre is very expensive. Carbon Fibre is used in Football studs to make them light weight and these shoes are often very expensive. What I believe is all the gloves by the brands under the sub 2.5-3k range provide Carbon Fibre Finish with the original material being TPU only.Originally posted by rahlp View PostYes I have checked that too. But you can double check on this buddy and if you find anything more do let me know as well

Re: Universal : Riding Gear Thread
Bought pulsar rs200 yellow last wednesday (22nd July) in BLR.
Currently, I'm using it for city commuting but will go for small tours once running in period is over.
What protective gears should I invest on?
- I already have studds ninja black helmet
- I'm planning to buy solace passion gloves

Clearly states Carbon Fiber Knuckles.
2) Spartan ProGear
This one says Carbon-fibre finished knuckle protection. The overall quality of this glove feels really amazing.

Don't get confused with the "finishing"... They are just finished to look exactly like the carbon fiber, but are faux only.***Correct me if I am wrong :)

Helmet's price was same as on Spartan site i.e 5650. Jacket was 7699 but I pointed out a little defect in the jacket so he gave a discount of 500 rs. A piece of rubber at the waist was coming out, and it was the last piece so he fixed it by feviquick[emoji6]. Both of them cost me around 12800.

Re: Universal : Riding Gear Thread
TBG gloves are indeed good, but a littlr on the expensive side for a short gauntlet. Passion and TBG or for that matter any other brand that mentions Carbon Fibre Knuckles, I assume only is trying to convey that the look is like Carbon Fibre. None of them are currently providing carbon fibre material in the Knuckles in gloves.Originally posted by tpsan View PostTGB street mention as carbon fiber. Just got them. Its 3450/-
