Any has any view's about the Tarmac One riding jacket manufacturer and marketed locally by Bachoo Motors?

Their 4XL is the only one that fits me... Although the build looks great.. I'm a little apprehensive about the quality of this jacket

Guys I'd like some help with my riding gear (I am purchasing GLOVES and JACKET only), and would really appreciate some suggestions:

Budget: 12K total for gloves and riding jacket, which could be extended if something really worth it would be available at a slightly higher price.

Riding condition: Purely city riding 100%, no highway use at all. I live in Bangalore, which gets really hot at times, really cold at others, and rains a lot too, so I would need waterproof gloves and jacket, thats a must, and something which wouldn't be too hot in hot weather, but also give warmth in cold weather (is that even possible lol? I remember seeing something like removable liners, is that a thing or what?)

      Thanks!

I am looking for a jacket and gloves myself, and the TBG Street + TBG ADV Breed jacket are my primary options so far. There is a review about both here on xBhp: http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/motorcyc...es-review.html

While all-weather jackets seem to be available (ADV Breed being one), there are no truly all-weather gloves. If you pick up winter/waterproof gloves, they will be too hot for city riding in hot weather; you will sweat, and it is unlikely to be anywhere near comfortable. If you pick up leather dry-riding gloves, water will get in during moderate to heavy showers. And it seems leather gloves need a lot of care, especially after getting wet (you have to dry them without keeping them in the sun, or squeezing them).

If you can extend your budget, go for two pairs of gloves: one for rains, and one for dry-riding. If you cant, then some jugaad is in order: wear a pair of surgical gloves or waterproof garden gloves over your riding gloves to keep water out. I haven't seen any pictures of people doing this, though I have read this tip on many blogs and xBhp posts.

The removable liners do exist, and they come in handy for all-weather jackets. But I prefer the external rain-coat of the ADV Breed, because it keeps the jacket dry as well. Another advantage of this is that you can stop and wear the rain cover on-road in a minute; whereas, internal liners take a lot of time to put on and take off (considering you have to remove the jacket and all). For cold riding, you can attach the internal thermal liner.

Please note that I don't own any of this gear, nor am I associated with TBG. My views here, are solely based on what I have read so far. Do let us know what you pick up

I read about it too, because I remember you mentioned these same ones to me on an earlier post, and it seems to be really good from the reviews. As a matter of fact, I went to the store today but it was closed, maybe because its a Sunday I guess? I'm pretty interested in these too

I came to know about TBG from you itself. I think now in market the brands which are offering reasonable pricing are cramster/rynox/solace

A 10 lakh (1000k) is one helluva price increase.

Guys today i bought the SOL Unicorn S68 II from Sunshine Auto, Thane.
And this helmet came with button type mechanism instead of D-ring..
Mine is without LED(₹700 cheaper) so does sol unicorn(without led) comes with button type mechanism or d-ring straps?

Should have a D ring mechanism. Get this piece replaced. See if Sunshine Auto is the authorized re-seller.

                              Thanks for the quick reply,
I did changed the pads from large to medium would this be a reason that they by-mistakenly put on the pads with button-type system?
And he is Authorised SOL re-seller(i think will confirm it)

Rings/latches are attached to the shell, independent of the cheek pads.
