Can someone please recommend a decent pair of knee guards in the price range of 3-4k which would go well with full-length riding boots?
The ones I'm using go partly inside the boot (as in the picture below, apologies for adding it in a new post as I forgot to do so while writing this one) which becomes a bit uncomfortable on account of restricting foot movement (which does not happen when I'm wearing just the boots). Plus, I've noticed that the knee guards have been rubbing against the inner lining of the boot and I do not wish to depreciate my boots that fast. :P

I have the same pair.
Checkout spartan perseus knee guards. Since you already have full length boots to protect shin bone you can wear this knee guard comfortably.

Hello guys, I am looking for winter gloves.

I have Aspida Phaeton Gloves which dont work for winter rides.. On the rides I have been to in winters, my hands froze to an extent where I thought they would break off

My budget is around 1.5-2k, I have only seen Cramster Tundra, are there any other options?

cramster tundra is good option within your budget range. but check solace aspire or blaze. it is around 2350

Crarmster Blaster Review


The review you are about read is almost written a year back, but I never posted it, But yesterday I had a high side and the glove took a serious blow. I'm okay, My palm doesnt suffer a single scracth but is swollen now, The glove did a good job and now ripped off. I've also attached the damaged pic of the gloves at the end.


And now the review,


I had bought the Cramster's riding gloves, Blaster almost a year back from now(At the time I wrote this review), And this is my honest review after almost a year of usage.

Initial impression and experience


Before this gloves I've been using DSG's Motomesh, It was a good one and had no issues with it. I'd developed an itch to buy the Blaster solemnley because of it looks alone,
since it looked exactly like the gloves used by my favourite motovlogger 6foot4honda previously had. The gloves looks awesome. Once worn, I felt the gloves to be much different (that is much harder and rougher on the hands) than my previous gloves.It was a snug fit. Initially I felt that hardness since the gloves had not broke-in. To break-in the gloves I had to immerse them on warm water for 15 minutes, wore them and slept with the wet gloves for the whole night. I repeated this for two days. Another way that I personally used to break-in the gloves was Gaming. I used to wear the gloves and play PS2 games a lot. After the breaking-in, The gloves felt much better.






Performance and protection


The gloves doesn't seems to have much ventilation opens but still I never felt sweaty with the gloves on my hands. It offered enough air flow.
It offers good amount of protection. The knuckle pad is quite rigid, and the padding under it makes it soft over the knuckles, there are also lots of padding on the palms, sides etc. Each paddings present for individual fingers sits on the place where they meant to be and it also has pinky protection too which most of the gloves fail to offer in this price range. The accordion stretch panels present on the gloves alows free movement for the hands and fingers. The overall comfort level is not exceptional but still great.




Quality


The quality of the product is kinda lying on the average level. There were stitching coming out of the gloves, I actually had to cut the extra stitchings off that were coming out the gloves while the product was still new. Exactly after three months of usage the gloves began to show signs of wears. And after five months, the stitchings near the upper side of the right thumb had given up. Currently my gloves has three individual spots were the stitching came off. Before buying this gloves a friend had advised me against the quality of his cramster's product. But still I went for it, Following the heart leaving my brains behind. At the time of purchasing the gloves I also had the idea of getting a Cramster's jacket. But since my friend had already warned. I came up with the thought of just getting the gloves form the cramster, use it and then see how the quality of it turns out to be. If its good, then I'll buy the Cramster Breezer 4S or else I'll choose something from either DSG or Alpinestars. As warned by my friend, the quality of Cramsters were indeed bad. So I bought the DSG Genesis Jacket and I'm loving it. I'd be posting a review of it soon.

The issue is, I prefer an external pair of knee guards. A bionic one would be even better.

Would be around 75 to 80kmph,I'm not sure though. It was during a corner entry as my front washed off. The rider behind me got everything on an action camera . If possible I'll try to get the footage and post it here.*Hopefully*

I mainly require decent ventilation for summers and a rain liner for the monsoons.
Comfort and decent protection are my priorities here.

If you can extend your budget to 6k then I'd recommend Spartan Icarus, it's a mesh jacket, comes with detachable rain liner and CE approved armor. Perfect for summers.

Actually the 5k is a painful extension itself! The problem is, I've run out of cash and this is going to be funded by my parents, who see this as "just another expense" on my riding gear. Hence, I have to try keep it to the minimum without compromising much on the protection aspect as that is the main purpose of the investment!

Then you can go with LS2 or PSG jackets but I don't think they come with CE approved armour.
The warranty and all of these jackets I'm not sure about. Best to acquire them from a shop as you can judge the quality.
P.S- Riding gear is one of the important expense of motorcycle ownership. Try convincing them.
