Chopra Automobiles are authorized dealers for a lot of riding gear brands.
The knee guards came with proper packing and look genuine.
There were a lot of options, I went for these. This was the price he asked for.

I was expecting to get it at Chopra Automobiles, Karol Bagh this Sunday. But they had just 5XL with them.
Decided to go to Adventure 18, Shantiniketan, they too didn't have a L. M was smaller and XL too large. Bad luck.

Tried a lot of jackets at Chopra's and loved the fit of Scimitar Transition the best. It checks almost all the right boxes and @sman999 has done a great review here.

I personally loved the jacket and its on a little lighter side. Got the back protector replaced by a Tornado Pro's because it didn't mention CE. Got it for 5200/-

Check out the Mototech Knee Gaurds. They are good as they provide shin protection also as compared to the others. Also fits in your budget.

The first page of this thread has all the links, retailers/dealers details that you'd require for your gear purchases. Do have a look at them, most brands have their standalone websites which essentially makes the job easier.

Check other brands like RYNOX and ZEUS gear that will help broaden your search in the same price bracket.

                Cheers!

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

Guys in Bangalore, please avoid Orion Motors for any kind of transaction. If your products are defective you'll be losing your money and the products too. Please stay away from Orion Motors. Pathetic sales and after sales service.

Guys, I had a question. Is buying riding gear from Kuala Lumpur cheaper than buying it from India? Also, xiaomi Yi will be cheaper there?
I am asking as one of my colleagues is travelling to KL tomorrow.

Thanks for the help in advance 😁

I'm an extremely slim guy (48kg) so I'm curious to know which brands would provide me a snug fit; as in the armor is secured where they are supposed to be.
I live in Goa so I doubt the small size jackets will be available for trial. Can any slim guy confirm which jackets he had found to fit better?

Also my palms sweat, so will all leather gloves deteriorate faster due to moisture from my sweat?
The Rynox Tornado Pro fits perfect. When i bought the jacket i was also slim like you (gaining now ). I bought the M sized jacket after chit chatting with the Rynox guys. with all the Liners M is a perfect tight fit, remove all the liners it still perfect, no armour movement once you fix the arm adjusters. If you want to opt. for Small size get it directly from Rynox gears or even outdoortravelgear.com has Small size stock.

If you worried about Leather, get the Solace Passion (its fabric at the palm region) you cab read its review in the review section. or if you still want to try your luck with leather then get the Solace Bravo full gauntlet leather gloves.
Well-trained reflexes are quicker than luck.

Not at all a good service. I would never recommended anyone from this store now ever. I recommended people this store thinking the manager will help, but no he started yelling when i asked for a refund.
I got a defective product, which was replaced and changed again. That wad defective too. I returned the product and i was promised a 100% refund. It had been a month or so without any calls/messages/refunds even. When I called Mr. Ravi he first of all shows he's too busy, idk maybe he's a really busy person as he has to handle a huge company. I tried contacting him several hundred times but nope he was too busy for that. Atlast someone i contacted him and When asked for my refund he started giving me weird options and started yelling. All I understood was he did not want to give my money back at any cost, but somehow i managed to get 95% of my money. 5% being the tax which i paid for a product which i never bought.
Pathetic experience with this dealership, neither they can talk or fix your problems with their products. Stay away and please buy from other dealerships.
And for Rynox stuff, please buy directly from the company.

you could have elaborated more on the product and model name, folks could have understood more about the situation.

I agree Phone Calls to Orion motors gear shop are useless. you have to visit the shop.
it may be bad but what good alternatives do we have if we are looking for Alpinestars goods ? importing is quite expensive.

I recommend against buying it. I bought it and realized it was a waste of money,

product is good but only for bicycle. it is not CE rated for motorcycle riding, it will only provide little protection for your knees and shin, ( slightly better than riding without anything)

I had to buy a CE riding pant as its cost is similar to a CE rated knee guard from a trusted brand, and safety wise Pants are any day safer than knee pads that can get stretched out of place on first contact with road.
Why ride fully covered in Riding gear on a hot Summer ? Because road rash from hot asphalt hurts more than sweat
Read this checklist before buying a Riding Boot
