That's why planned to buy smoked visor. My friend has an iridium visor. But i don't like vision of it.

I ride only in daylight. Under hot sun.

So what's your final verdict? Shall i go for smoke?

Try it, it shouldn't be an issue.
even as option you can anytime go back to stock one if felt so.

Aside, In my recent upgrade/addition,I went for helmet with "Internal retractable Sun visor" ,which serves both purpose for me.
Keep this option in your future helmet upgrade checklist.

Thinking of getting an MT Revenge.
How much do the iridium or smoked visors cost and where to get them? Couldn't find them on SPG.
Also, how easy is it to switch between visors?
I have an LS2 and had it's not that easy on this one. Once I broke one while trying to put it back.

So easy. Just pull 2 pins.. And your visor pops out.

Gaurav bhai, Rynox Tornado Pro is another option. Comes around 7.5K with a thermal liner + rain liner. It has KNOX armour and is pretty comfortable. Has mesh in case you are riding in summers. It is good in taking an impact as well. Saved my right shoulder and right hand when I met with an accident.

              Peace!

Hi Hemanz bhai, Yeah I did check out Rynox Pro however went with an altogether different option. Got an X-Element XS8162 tex jacket for myself. This came with SasTec 2 armor and they are pretty decent too (As my Leh ride told me :P) Also, it has a pretty effective ventilation system with 6 vents which enables me to wear it in summers too. The only flip is that when you are at a standstill it gets somewhat stuffy. It is waterproof and has a damn good woolen liner too. Normal retail is at about $180 however got hold of it during a local store clearance at my cousins place.

                Peace !

I had a Ls2 too and changing is so easy.
I can remove one and install other In around 15-20 seconds (sometimes 20-30 but that's rare).

Your lock might be a cause for this.

the Helios goes well with Odysseus pants.. also "previous gen" I use 'em in a pair.. they're great together.. built like a tank..

so the current gen should be better than the previous..
I bit the bullet and got the current gen Helios. Comes standard with CE Level 2 armour for all but the back protector. Loved the fit and finish. Thanks again for helping me out here.

Just checked their website. They provide Knox Level 1 protector. I guess you are mistaken here or the dealer must have given you some wrong information.
But nevertheless, its Knox. Even their Level 1 better than Sastec or any other local Level 2 protector.

Congratulations for the Jacket. Ride Safe buddy

Surprising, since I bought it from the Spartan showroom in chennai. I checked the armour and it said knox level 2. The guy I spoke to told me they dont offer the level 2 upgrade except for the back protector on the Helios since they've made it standard. This was a new batch of jackets he had just received last week.

Can you please share the images of the protectors of your jacket here? I had purchased the Rynox Tornado Pro with Knox protectors and the protectors in the Tornado Pro and the Helios were the same.
I infact went for the Tornado pro as it had - extra thermal liner, better water-proof breathable reissa fabric, Du Pont (Invista) Cordura at outer shell and a better Back protector. Also the Mesh quality of the Tornado Pro was better.
I also checked their Facebook Page and Website again.

Also have dropped them a message on FB to confirm the same. Let's see. In the meanwhile it would be great if you could help us with the images of the protectors. Does the Knox Protectors say Part 41 or Part 42 by any chance?

                                Greeting all fellow xbhpians,

I'm on a 6k budget to buy a riding jacket and a gloves. I'm not a tourer, more of a daily commuter and travels to meet my friend who is staying 100km from my home, so max journey I do is a 200 km a day, which i do 1-2 times a month. I ride rarely on rainy conditions, I tend to sweat a lot during rides. I have two options:
                                1. SPG aspida atlas(4750rs)
                                2. Rynox air gt.(5750rs)

Protection is my top most priority. What I'm more concerned here is only the protection and ventilation. I ride a cb hornet 160r and usually ride at normal speeds. So, can I saftely go with atlas or buy rynox air gt?
