  • Advice on purchasing a knee guard and elbow guard combo under ₹2500 for casual usage.

Need to buy a knee guard and elbow guard combo under ₹2500 for casual city rides.
Not considering Cramster since I dont really like it.
I am looking at Scoyco K11H11 on amazon which are plastic build but are comfortable.
Also the other choice I can see is ProX knee guards which have steel outer caps.
Is there any benefit of steel caps ??
Which one should I go for ?
ps. Both are available on amazon.

        Hi guys,
Im new here and I am looking to buy a new pair of gloves.
I bought Rynox Rampage Pro 2 months back, now its having holes here and there on the palm side. Pathetic quality.
Im looking for something good that will last long under 3K in Bangalore.

These are some of the options that I looked into.
I would like to get suggestions/ opinions from people who have used any of these.
Im leaning towards BBG and Solace Bravo though.

Did you try reporting the problem to Rynox or to the dealer from where you purchased the product? They really have good customer service. I think they will solve the issue and may be you will not really have to buy a new pair and use that money somewhere else.

I had gone to the dealer,"Lets Gear Up" in bangalore. But they said I gotta mail directly to Rynox which I did with Invoice and images. Been 1 week. Yet to get any response.

I am looking for an all weather jacket within 7.5k suitable for both city rides / highway tours. Can anyone tell me which one is better between ASPIDA Nemesis 2 and Solace Defender Plus? Was looking for the Rynox Air GT/ Tornado Pro before, but both the ASPIDA Nemesis and Solace Defender provide SAS-TEC armour. However, Nemesis has 600D Duracor Ballistic fabric chassis and the Defender has got 750D Cordura Ballistic Shell (Confused between which one is better in terms of comfort).

Well while i agree that the defender looks like it has the better abrasion resistance fabric...you seem to need the jacket for daily wear during city rides too. The defender is a textile jacket. I have got the solace sprint which is a mesh jacket and even with this I sweat during b2b traffic in Bangalore. For protection Defender seems like a better bet (only if you can wear it daily though) and the quality of the jacket was definitely good at first glance (dont know about long term usage). For a usage/comfort standpoint the Nemesis would be a better choice.

If you are getting the Nemesis make sure they give you the second version since I remember the first version having level 1 armor. Check the armor rating your self in the shop.

Thanks for your suggestion . I don't 'commute' within the city as such but I do ride within the city regularly for 30-40 kms. The average temperature in Kolkata during summers is 32-36 C and humid enough. Given I am a bit tight on budget (still saving for the riding pants / boots next month ) and can't own two separate jackets for different purposes, I am inclining towards the protection aspect. So, you can say its a 80:20 - Protection:Comfort ratio. I think I will go with the Defender. I will be buying online so even if I choose the Nemesis, version 2 is what they have listed on spg website.

Rynox Rampage Pro Gloves Review (after 2.5 months usage)

If anyone is planning to buy Rynox Rampage Pro Gloves, please don't.
They just don't last long. Please see the image of the condition of my gloves after 2.5 months of usage.
This is not some Rs. 500 gloves. It costs Rs. 1850. You can get better gloves at that price from other brands.

Go for gloves that have leather on the inner side. It's much safer than Fabric Gloves.
