BTW, I had a chat yesterday with Letsgearup and they said size M is available for the TBG Knight Jacket from the old consignment. Even after knowing that size M wouldn't fit me, I went to check the jacket today. And, on reaching I got to know that the stock is over. They were kind enough to send me a message on Facebook minutes before I reached there. But, the good news is that the new consignment is arriving tomorrow. So, I will be there tomorrow again to pick the jacket

The TBG Sports Gloves are not coming in stock anytime soon and I was told today that the Rynox Apex Evo is also getting an upgrade and they don't have stock in sizes smaller than XL. So, I'm not sure if I should pick up something which is due for an upgrade. The Solace Race Pro gloves on the other hand has better protection, but I'm not sure about the reliability and comfort, anyone using it please provide your inputs.

Also, provide some suggestions on Knee Guards, or shall I save a little and get a riding pant later? Sorry, but I haven't done any homework on Knee Guards as of now and I am going to do that now.

Thanks everyone for helping me out.
Person I know of uses Solace Race pro and I have tried it too. They are quite good. I would also suggest you looking at DSG Primal and Cramster TRG2. Buy the one which is comfortable for you.

Regarding the knee guard, if you want to go for one, best is Mototech.

But if you want to go with riding pants, just to let you know, Solace is coming up with Level 2 SAS TEC armoured riding pants by June end I think, with a price of 7+. At this price this will be the only riding pants with SAS TEC.

Now coming on to Solace. They make good quality products, never heard of anyone having issues with their products. Ps They are known for the aftersales and service part, they also repair gears of other brands at a minimal charge.
Coming on to Knee guards part. If you are into touring, I would recommend you go for riding pants. They are good since the armour stays in place and they are made from abrasion resistant fabric. About the knee guards, you can go ahead and purchase ones from Aspida, Cramster or Solace. All are good, although you miss the hip protection on them.

I have tried Solace knee guard they are not that great. Go for Mototech, it's considered as best in the range.

A genuine question here. How does one rate or considered as the good one in knee guards? There are a lot of them in market. Personally I didn't go for any brand specific or even check the SASTEC rating if it has, I've got SCOTT Knee guard for 3k. I kind of bought in a hurry without checking any other models or options for review which happens to be a mistake on my part but it feels good in protection, hard plastic and good foam inside.

Solace guards are not that great, but I have seen mototech guards falling apart after sometime, the rivets opening up. Maybe look at a non-riveted design like Cramster Drifter pro.
Ps no idea about SCOTT knee guards.

Helios prime is on sale available for 5900 now. Seems they are stopping the model now as per one of their SE. Is this good to buy considering it doesn't have thermal liner ? I'm also thinking to upgrade the armour to SAS tec level 2 if I buy it.

Rynox Apex any given day. It comes with Knox SPS Protectors (This is the same glove slider protector used by Knox for their Moto Gp Gloves.)
How muhc do you think a foam padding on the palm can help which is mostly there in all the gloves including mine. Planning to upgrade to Rynox Delta SPS gloves as I am not quite comfortable with long gloves.

Hello, I recently received the solace sprint jacket. Can't say if it's loose or it's supposed to be loose. The jacket is 1-2 inch loose from elbow to waist. Can take off the jacket easily with everything tightened. Is it normal or do I need to send the jacket back?

I was inclining to apex even though out of budget but doesn't matter only a small difference between the Ares. Regarding fit is there supposed to be any gap at the tip of the finger when fully strapped on?

The store I was in had a lower end model of aspida and we tried fixing it with the advento but didn't happen. Will go again with my helios to check. I really loved the advento pants. Really comfortable fit and the bonus-Knox protector at hips.

I'm looking for gloves. This is the first time I'll be buying gloves.. Initially I was inclined on buying alpinestars but they cost around 4500 whereas dsg and rynox provide full gauntlet under that range. So can anyone help me choose a nice pair of gloves? What are the other brands other than dsg and rynox which are good? Also.. Has anyone tried gloves by zeus?

From what I've read dsg has some quality issues. Check rynox apex Evo they offer Knox sps.
Other brands to check tbg, solace. Not sure about availablity of tbg street but they are good. In solace check race pro.
