With the peanuts that they pay a low level guy in IT buying these gears means investing a few months of my salary savings (which I am ready to do), but I don't want to buy something and then realize I could have got a better deal (with regards to safety and usability).Originally posted by peeths003 View PostDamn . I really dont think you need advise from some one.
If you guys (or anyone else) can give your opinions (even those which you have heard from your biker friends) I would be really grateful for the same.

Re: Universal : Riding Gear Thread
I dont recomend Cramster or DSG ... becuase i use 2 cramster jacket for a year now and the quality should have been better. Used a DSG riding pants and got torn in the sides after the first ride. Rynox wont disappoint neither does TBG. and TBG has a upper hand in their product, be it gloves, Jacket or boots. They are all VFM products. You can also get sas tec level 2 armors from solace website. I have visited the solace office in kanakpura road bangalore to purchase the roha short boot for my daily commuting. They seems to be good and quality product, however need to wait for a long term reviews and opinions. Aspida ( Spartan) also is a very good brand from the forums and reviews that i have heard ( not used them personally though). Hope this helps.Originally posted by Dovahkiin View PostThanks guys. Re: Universal : Riding Gear Thread
Me too would suggest Rynox jacket and later on pants by the same. I have no experience with TBG so can't suggest.
Boots, do check orazo boots . Sturdy and tested by most tourers.
Gloves, TBG has made a good name for themselves.

Re: Universal : Riding Gear Thread
Bikers,
I would like to buy Paddock stand for my Ninja 300. I checked online and found the price is too high on most of the known websites. However I found a good one at reasonable price on redlineplus.in. I have never ordered anything from this site till date. has anyone bought accessories from this site? by budget is less than 4K, I would be glad to take your suggestions if there is an alternate.
My apologies if I have posted this on wrong thread, didn't find a relevant one.Regards,
ArK

1. With spools- U'll have to buy additional swingarm spools. But, it's more stable.
2. Without spools (Good enough, I'd say). I've been using one. No probs so far.

hi buddyOriginally posted by Dovahkiin View PostHi Everyone
i ll try to let you know some points,
Jackets - TBG is good option comes with the SAS TEC Level 2 armors all over & it is a mesh jacket having rain & thermal liners with 7950/- approx i dont know exact.
construction & as per safety it is good no doubt. good reviews it has
Tornado Pro comes with knox level 1 armors with rain & thermal liners worth rs. 7450/- several good reviews.
solace defender comes with SAS TEC level 2 armors at elbow & Shoulder with CE level 1 back but its not a mesh one its is cordura construction riessa stitched inside
& thermal liner is removable comes price rs.7100/- not heard any complaints yet
its depends upon you if you comfortable in mesh construction or cordura.
one more thing heard about the TBG rain liner is not that much working in rain. So if your concern is not that much for rainy season then
go for TBG or else Rynox
for shoes there are reviews in this forum itself i read & on other sites also see below if can help you out.

Re: Universal : Riding Gear Thread
Thank you Sanjay for the help. I checked with Gaurav from G. A. Engineering and he quoted 2200 rs for it excluding shipping. However can you tell me how's your paddock stand holding out? How is the quality? Is it strong enough? Also do I need swingarm spools? Is it universal? Can be used for duke 200/cbr/RC.
Thanks for the help

Spools or no spools is up to you, as there are both variants that are sold. There stand is universal and should fit any bike. Just keep in mind the load tolerance.
The stand that I bought was 2.9k and cam hold up to 250kg.Last edited by paradoxx; 07-14-2016, 09:51 AM.
