Guys anyone using knox hand armour techstyle gloves available at outdoor travel gear?
Also considering alpinestars sp8 gloves. Any user reviews would be helpful.

| Jacket: Don't want to comprise on safety but since we live in a country with varied climates and my primary purpose is touring an all weather jacket would be preferable | 10K |
| Gloves: Full gauntlets and usable in rains preferred but not really sure on the comfort of these in India | 6K |
| Boots: With decent all round protection and removable toe slider. If it looks inconspicuous then even better though not a deal breaker. | 8K |
| Riding Jeans/Pants: Would like to get the jeans first since I believe in having maximum possible protection even for short rides. Will buy riding pants later. | 6K |
) since my Roommate has already got himself a scooty and started dragging me out for short rides.| Jacket Name | Comments |
| TBG Adv Breed Jacket | The top contender since it is the only one that comes with Level 2 Sastech Protectors for shoulders, elbow and back. However, not sure about the quality of the mesh used, the jacket chassis, material at impact zones, comfort during summer rides and during rains etc. Owners kindly let me know. |
| ASPIDA Hyperion | doesnt have Level 2 protectors at almost Rs3000 more is a big downer since I will have to upgrade later. Not really sure how it's better than the TBG one. Kindly let me know. |
| ASPIDA Odysseus | Seems to be a new jacket in their lineup and haven't seen any reviews of this one. However, it has the same cons as the Hyperion. |
| Rynox Tornado Pro | falls short on protection like the ASPIDAS. |
| Solace Defender Plus | Not sure of the brand itself. However, this one comes closest to the TBG one on protection (misses out on back armor level 1 only). |

| TBG Track Breed | Seems to be the most expensive one (Rs8850). However, unlike the gloves I cant justify the price from the features mentioned. Seems to have requisite protection for the shin and ankle (not sure about the heel though). It is mentioned as waterproof so I am assuming it can be used for touring. |
| RYO Raptor II Boots | At Rs8000 this one offers TPU protection for shin, ankles and heels. It also mentions Lorica upper layer and metal insole. I dont get either of these terms. Could someone explain them? This one seems alright though. |
| SOLACE Threshold | At Rs7200 this one seems to be the most VFM. In addition to all the features of the TBG and Raptor boots it also mentions additional protection for Rear arch & Calf. But more important is that it seems to have Water proof internal membrane (HIPORA) unlike the Raptors. Just would like confirmation from you guys that this actually works (if someone who owns these boots can confirm the features and the waterproof thing would be great). |

| Zeus Dark Rider Jeans | Comes in a 10.5oz heavy denim (Has a Lycra and Non Lycra Mix). Has DuPont Kevlar fiber at the knees and hips along with Knox armors. Seems ok for the price (Rs4800). |
| Royal Enfield Jeans | Comes in some kind of Lycra Denim Mix. Armour only at the Knee. So at Rs4000 this one doesn't seem like the Best deal. |
