    thanks in advance!
Tornado pro any give day. Knox Armours and Du Pont (Invista) Cordura at Impact zones.

The outer shell has Du Pont Cordura which has higher abrasion resistance than even Nylon while other jacket are just made out of Polyester (re- branded as Cordura).

Cordura by itself is a brand and is very expensive and is used at Impact zones in the Tornado Pro (this is common in many jacket sold internationally) but in India I believe only Rynox uses it.

Remember besides the Armours, the outer shell plays a very important role to provide abrasion resistance. Then Armours for impact arrests (which are also Knox).

Still waiting for atleast one response.
Out of the above I think Aspida should be a good buy since it's there since a long time and is also a reputed brand.

Had checked the Mototech one, the outer material is way way way thinner than other jackets. It is very flimsy. This is exactly the same thin material used in the Scimitar Jacket (Which I had strongly condemned coz it had plastic armours and very thin material)

Defender Plus is better than Tornado Pro, anyday. The comfort provided by sas tec, availability of more sas tec armour, a textile jacket form rather than mesh. These things win for Solace. The material is 750d cordura that is very good if you ask me. No mesh here.
T Pro is a great jacket no doubt, but knox armours are not that malleable and are not that comfortable. Furthermore, you can't fit sactec level 2 protectors in T Pro.
T Pro needs an armour upgrade from Rynox but unfortunately they have tie-ups with Knox only. Also, T pro is mesh, micromesh (kind of) is cooler than a textile jacket.
Sas tec armours are reusable after impact
Cheers ! The pick is yours.
Would recommend you to go visit the store and decide.

Can anybody give me a review related to Cramster breezer 4s jacket. Cramster in only available in dehradun. Online shopping is not my cup of tea and visiting Delhi just to try other brands is not possible as of now.
Have tried once, fits well but I have a doubt regarding quality of cramster products. Even youtube didn't helped me out.

            Thanks in advance

            • Riding jacket suggestion

I am a rider from a small plateau town of southern West Bengal with an extreme hot & humid climate in summer and rainy season. The winter is short here.

Can you suggest me any riding jacket in such climate which can be worn for extreme hot & humid weather also.

              My budget is 6,000/- .... 7,000/- max

Hi, I am relatively new to riding and gears and hence one doubt regarding the Asphida Phaeton gloves. I bought a pair a few months back as it was the most comfortable of the lot that i tried. Came to know only later that it is mainly for summers and not designed for rain or cold. Just wanted to know
                1. Will there be any issues with the gloves if i used it in the rain?.
                2. Is it advisable since my hands may become even more colder if the gloves get soaked?
                3. Is it wise to invest again in Aspida Poseidon for the rains or do i have some other options like breathable thermal or rain proof liners separately for gloves?
In case this has already been discussed, i would be really grateful if someone can direct me to the related posts. Thanks.

Rynox AIR GT or the Cramster Breezer is the best for those conditions and will fit the price range too

Biking brotherhood xplorer is also good. I'm using it since September 2016. And the air circulation is great if the rain liner is removed.

Rynox has some facebook activity going on regarding launch of a new jacket and pant. May be air gt v.2 or tornado pro v2.
Hold on for a few days.

Does anyone use a riding jeans with protection for knee, hip and tail bone? I have been looking for one for a while but unable to find anything in India. I am looking for something casual which I can wear to work and not feel out of place yet provide good protection when I am on the saddle. Any suggestions please?

I was looking for riding jeans as well because wearing knee and shin guards is a bit cumbersome.

I found two options, one is Zeus Dark Rider jeans for around 6k and the other is Bikeratti jeans with Kevlar and D3O hip n knee pads that run around 8k.

I've tried on the Bikeratti ones and the quality is good, haven't seen/tried the Zeus ones yet.

I have been using Zeus dark rider jeans (in black) for close to 6 months 5 days a week at least. I would say that they are quite comfortable but heavy. They do get hot when you are stuck in traffic on a the sunny day.

The kevlar lining does seem to protect the usual zones (its not full length). But the Knox armors for the knee are crap. Mine broke into two pieces (not an accident just while removing it from the pants themselves) within a few months (less than 3 months).... but i did use it daily.

Haven't used the hip armors so wont comment on that but they do give you the look of a lady at the hips so i don't wear the hip armors to office. I planning to switch the knee armors with sastech level 2 soon.

Overall i would say they are value for money with some iffy quality bits here and there (the button on the jeans seems to break for everyone..zip is YKK so its fine). But the protection this thing provides is just slightly better in terms of abrasion resistance compared to a normal heavy duty jeans because after all its normal cotton. There is one other thread here in x bhp where the owner has reviewed it.

If you choosing it for office try and get the black one because it hides the knee pockets well. The dark blue version has stretch zones at the knee that would be a dead giveaway for riding jeans in office.

Thanks for the suggestions. I did check Zeus dark rider online but unable to find Bikeratti anywhere online. Would you have a link to them by any chance? And which store did you try them? Did you check the Royal Enfield apparels? It shows online that they have pretty decent riding jeans but haven't checked their armor levels.

Rynox Air GT, Solace Sprint. Sprint has some great reviews and employs cordura on impact zones.
