Hi all,
I recently bought some riding gear for myself. Have invested in a studds shifter helmet, fox gloves & elbow and knee guards. I couldn't buy a decent jacket and a better helmet because I was on a tight budget.
My question is 1- Is studds shifter a good helmet for highway riding? I regularly commute between Mysore and Bangalore. Planning on taking longer trips soon.
2. Is there a good riding jacket available for around 2k? I don't want to invest in that 'fox' riding jacket available online because I've heard horrible reviews about it. The elbow and knee guards are only a substitute till I can buy a good jacket.

Shifter is a great helmet as the same shell is sold with DOT in foreign nations. It is comfortable and reliable.
Sorry no good riding jackets around 2k. Save up atleast 5k.

Check this if you are on budget. Atleast better than elbow guards.

Just a curious question, how GST is affecting riding gears prices, like I enquired about alpinestars gears few store owners told me that billing is halted.

Revolt helmets are pretty good you can check that avoid mt helmets at this price range.

Any reason to avoid MT helmets ? MT revenge is the best helmet in 7k range.

As far as i knw Mt helmets are noisy above 120kmph but revolt isn't.

MT revenge is silent at higher speeds however MT blade is little bit noisy. Snug size matters. Moreover revenge has 5 star sharp rating which is my priority.

MT revenge also seems to be noisy around 120kmph. Haven't tried but read through this. Can anyone share their personal experience. I'm also looking to decide between MT helmets and revolt.

I'm currently using mt blade, the problem is it's fogging up when closed! Is the pinlock visor really needed to get rid of the fogging?
