My bad, didn't check the thread. Sorry.
The crash happened at 60kmph for him. The hairline fracture was on the little pinky finger.

It is hard to predict the state of a gloves/jacket after it has taken a crash. As a lot depends on the way you fall, speed, surface and much more. Glad that it saved your hand than what it would have had been if not for the gloves.

              Hello fellow riders,

I dont know if this is the right place to post this but anyways.

I have a pair of Held GORE-TEX® Air n Dry gloves with 2in1 technology for sale. The link to product is below.

              https://shop.held.de/en/ladies/gloves/racesports/3942/gore-tex-gloves-gore-2in1-technology-air-n-dry?number=002242-00.1.7

I have used that gloves for few rides. The gloves are still in pristine condition. The gloves has 2 chambers. I imported the gloves from USA.

If anybody is looking for branded gloves in mildly used condition, do let me know. I have posted the ad on OLX and Quikr too.

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
                    The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

                    • Suggest my first riding jacket. Budget around 7K

I want to buy a riding jacket with a bughet of 7K for my Gixxer SF. Someone suggested scimitar jacket which cost around Rs.5500 but I'm more inclined towards BBG ladakh jacket or Rynox tornado pro. Thanks in advance.

BBG Laddakh is a good jacket, go for it.

i have gone through BBG website. They mention their armors as latest CE rated. Any idea what type of armor they offer? Level 1 or 2? sastec or knox?

Mods please add Biking Brotherhood Gears to the above list. They seem to have a decent collection of gears, I recently bought their Ladakh jacket, will review it after I use it for some time.

I just bought it. Its CE Level 1.

I will give you my first impressions in case that helps in your decision.

It seems a decent jacket but its heavy like an Aspida jacket (Helios I think). On a long ride of 12+ hours I really suspect that the weight will become very bothersome. Considering my riding days usually are 12+ hours and I tend to walk to the places of interest with the jacket on, it can become a deal breaker for me.

Secondly its all black, in summers that's going to be problematic. I wonder why so many jackets are all black, its such a poor choice for most of riding conditions in India. Anyway, I bought it for use in while riding in colder weather so its going to be fine with me I guess.

I intend to buy the CE level -2 back protector from Aspida website and use it with this jacket as well as the Cramster Breezer 2 (bought in 2009) that I will use for summer riding.

A good thing with this jacket is the fluorescent yellow external rain liner. It will certainly aid in visibility during rains. External rain liner is much better because while riding you get intermittent rains rather than a continuous downpour so you can always take it off or at least unzip it when it stops raining.

The winter liner is the same quality as I have seen in jackets from other brands, which means it is thin and flimsy and doesn't look like it will be all that effective in real cold. Taking in on or off is a chore anyway, but for mild cold I guess it will suffice. But its certainly not a highlight for a jacket named Ladakh.

The shoulder and elbow armours seem good and the jacket is constructed using 6000D polyester, so it should offer decent abrasion resistance.

Bbg ladakh is too much mesh from above two you have mentioned rynox seems to be better in quality.

I have tornado pro at 7950 the price increased because they have upgraded the knox armour. The jacket very good imo.
