So looking out for some protection, is Alpinestars belt a better option or Cramster belt?

Also i will be changing my bike pretty soon(upgrading to KZMA as suggested by OLD FOX) so that i can ride for long distances
    I have a few questions:
    1. What do the Docs say? Did you undergo any tests or do you need some physiotherapy sessions to set it right? What is the problem basically? Atleast an X-Ray should have been taken.
    2. Which bike do you ride&for how long?
    3. What is your health condition like? Are you obese? Lead a sedentary lifestyle? What is your build?

I would recommend a good lower back support belt (can be a regular medical belt also) for daily usage.
Touring belts like Cramster, Alpine Stars according to your budget.
Hero Honda Hunk has a good seat, with an inclined portion in the middle for supporting the lower back of the rider. Please have a look at that also.

ans- i have gone through all medical stuff, starting from x-rays to Physiotherapy, it cant be set rt but u can reduce by doing back excercise

      2. Which bike do you ride&for how long?
ans- i ride a P150 for like 250-300 KM in a day at max when we r out with our biker's

      3. What is your health condition like? Are you obese? Lead a sedentary lifestyle? What is your build?

ans- i am fat, and i do lead a sedentary life style, also i used a medic belt but it didnt help me much but i go for swiming once or twice in a week for 30 odd mins

I cant ride long bending forward, thats the thing i am not supposed to do
I cant bend forward and do things so changing my bike accordingly

You still haven't told me what the Docs diagnosis is!
In anycase, since you have decided to change your ride, I would suggest one of the following:
        Cruisers: Avenger/Bullet
        Others: Hunk/GS150/Unicorn
If it is not a major problem like bone dislocation etc., I still feel physiotherapy can set many a thing right!

        • I have ANKYLOSING SPONDYLITIS, it was diagonised 1 year 8 months back, its something major but physiotherapy helps

U have suggested for HUNK/GS150R/UNICORN, is there a problem with KZMA? I mean with the seating position?

Actually I was thinking of ThunderBird ,but Old fox suggested me not to take a crusier as the whole body wt is on lower spine, so thinking of buying a KZMA

I have read some articles just now on Google. You can ride a bike, but its seating should be suitable to your lower back region. I think you need a bike which has a lower back support available on the seat. The only bike which I saw with that seat design is the Hunk. Please have a look at the seat. I have already seen it downstairs sometime back.

            • First of all thnk u
I will have a look into the HUNK and also KZMA .If i can some howmanage to get a same position in KZMA(modifying it) i will go for it

Any what about the belts, if both the belts are equally effective then
i would go for the Cramster belt rather than the Alpinestars belt as its much cheaper

No problem! I know how it feels when you can't ride! Moreover your health condition is not your fault, it is mostly a hereditary phenomenon. If you are modifying the ZMA's seat, please do not make it hard. Do anything to make seats softer, but hard will be a strict no-no for you.
As for the belt, I have not compared both, but do feel that Cramster products are of good quality&VFM as I'm using knee, elbow guards, jacket&will be buying pants&shoes next month.

Nice! Both will be pretty good for coming summer rides. But, I felt you should have bargained on the jacket, as it is a discontinued model. I did the same&got a grey one for about 4.3K.

                            • @Beastrider: The Cramster jacket seems good to me. Is that water resistant? And how is the protection (the armor)?

P.S: And not to mention, it gels real well with your blue bike!

The jacket is not water resistant .There is a seperate rain coat which is given with the jacket. The armor is very good.
