as per there site MAZE mesh is water resistant, is it still god for rains, i mean light rains?
It does not hold much against the rains.... but it can save you from occasional drizzle.
But this jacket is pretty good... one of the best mesh jackets you can get.

yeah i spoke to DSG store he said mesh would not absorb water but its not water proof dunno what that means he said for light rains its good with inner lining, or you can wear a waterproof windcheater. This year bangalore summers are bad and for light or sometimes rain, i think Maze will solve my purpose. Spike is damn heavy you can actually feel its weight. and yes maze does attract attention

@chetan thnx for heads up on that.

      • Saddlebags..

I saw a saddlebag, local leather one for 850rs. @ Hardeep / GP Road, Chennai

        The saddlebag looks like..

Is it worth spending 800 rupees for the local leather saddlebag or should i go for the cramsters saddlebag ??

        • @Ananth: These are low capacity bags, at least they look (very)small. Cramster bags are bigger and easier to carry around off the bike. IMO the cramsters are a better investment..

I didnt find the Spike to be heavy..!!

And attention grabbers is almost every riding jacket..coz its a bit 'Hatke' from the regular windcheater's/adidas's/nike's ..

              • Cramster Riding Boots

I have ordered for the Cramster riding boots, medium version for Rs.4300 plus shipping charges Rs.240 from Smart Designs (Outdoor Travel Gear), Mumbai.
Actually Cramster Bangalore is discontinuing the short models&has only size 42 left, which they are selling off for Rs.4100. After talking to the Pune&Mumbai (Smart Designs dealers), I found out that there are actually two models in short design-one is for Rs. 4100&the other for Rs.4300. The Pune dealer was trying to sell the short one to me for Rs.4800!
The difference is: The medium one is ditto the long boot minus the shin padding&calf slider. Short one seems to have nothing except the toe-shift protection strip&ankle bone torsion cup.
So, if any of you are interested in Cramster riding boots, but do not want to go for the long version, please check out with http://smartdesignsindia.googlepages.com/protectiveridingaccessories.
The site contains outdated pics. As per my request, Mr.Jitesh had even sent me pics of the short vs.the medium boot, which helped me to decide.

Cramster doesn't have an online payment gateway, does it?
If no, i guess it would be fine, as your transaction would be offline through DD etc.

Thats ok, I already ordered the boots from Smart Designs (Outdoor Travel Gear), Mumbai, as Cramster didn't have stock of the short ones. Please see my last post.
As for the pants&touring gloves, I think I will wait till next week!
