I do not think that the AXO guards availabale nowadays at every local accessory shop is the original one.....i have my doubts over the originality but i when i used it for one or two short rides(around 150 kms each time),it seemed to fit really well and appeared to provide decent protection...Havent tried the Cramster ones on a ride but the look and feel of it didnt really impress me as the AXo did....it costs aorund 1600-2000rs depending upon the city.....another good product that i found was the guards from FOX racing....they are total VFM.....crash tested it also
....and it came out with flying colours..just a small scratch on it..thats it....no broken straps and all...and it CE approved...dont know whether the AXo ones are CE approved..didnt notice it
You can take the ride away from me but you cannot take the rider out of my soul.........

My AXO knee guard and eldow guard. I posted the pics couple of pages earlier also. I bought them at 1800INR from Kolkata. L.P has got the same thing at 1450INR from Delhi.
The guards does not scratch my bike's tank. In most of the bikes the guards does not even touch the tanks. So, no chance of scratching. Can't comment about fox though.
Thanks a lot Sukant. We don't get Cramster or DSG in Kolkata.Originally posted by sukant08 View PostLast time I went to Cramsters office, Breezer 2.0 wasn't there so am not being able to comment specifically on that. But I own a DSG Spike jacket and when I was there ar cramster, I had tried out Raptor and Pulse jackets extensively.
I really felt Cramsters have a much better fit. It complements the body shape pretyy well and gives a v-contour, not falling squarishly like the DSGs. I don't kno maybe it was just for me, but the XL of DSG felt too small and XXL was too big. Cramster fit perfectly.
Regarding the armours tho, I felt the DSG armours felt more solid than Cramsters, esp the shoulder and back bit. I talked the Keerthi (owner of Cramster about it) and he was pretty forthright. He said his armours are full CE approved and its just like comparing thow ISI certified helmets !! But I'd still prefer DSGs armours !!
Even after wearing the Cramster, it felt less restrictive and lighter than DSG. In fact XL Cramster gave me more freedom of movement than XXL DSG spike. The Spike almost make you feel like you are going on a war ...... wich might be a good thing depending on how u look at it !!
So, no chance of comparing for me.
Thanks again.
